YoloinOhio Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 I really don't want to have to learn to spell his name though @allbrightNFL If the #Broncos do end up with Romo, the #Bills would have interest in acquiring Trevor Siemian.
CommonCents Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 As a 3rd QB who cares. He is making peanuts and has some mobility and on the field experience. It's safe to assume EJ is out of mix, I'd rather a young guy like Siemian than a Hoyer type.
Kirby Jackson Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 Oh Maybe I'm in the minority but I'd prefer Siemian to Foles (for example). I have no use for either though. Keep TT and compete or burn this s**t to the ground. I thought we were done being half-pregnant (or is that a thing again with Rex out)?
TheFunPolice Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 Yup... Tyrod is light years better than either of them. Suit up any nondescript backup QB and you've got Foles or Simean.
YoloinOhio Posted March 2, 2017 Author Posted March 2, 2017 Why? The guy is awful Dennison connection
DriveFor1Outta5 Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 Wow. Close the message board and leak something this dumb in the same day. What an organization. Whaley knows a bad QB when he sees them. We are going nowhere until all the current talent evaluators are gone. If this doesn't prove it you just are a Dougie fanboy.
Maddog69 Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 I may get destroyed for this. But I think this is a great idea. Siemian knows the offense and had a solid first season as a starter. Is he a superstar? NO. But he is cheap and decent. He makes just over $1.3m combined for 2017 and 2018. That's almost $40m less than Tyrod for slightly less production and way more upside. I would love if we dumped Tyrod and acquired this kid while still continuing to search for a sure fire Franchise QB. I'd much rather go into 2017 with Siemian as our starter than Cardale, Foles, Cutler or any of the other garbage available and definitely would like him as a placeholder if we decide to draft a QB this year (which I would not do). Tyrod is marginally better but not $16m per year better.
DriveFor1Outta5 Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 This is likely to take EJ's spot. Everyone relax. Maybe, but when the team hasn't committed to TT yet and I hear talk of "acquiring" a QB, I assume it's to be starter.
C.Biscuit97 Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 This is likely to take EJ's spot. Everyone relax. Are we sure Taylor is better than Siemen? Essentially, they are the same 7-8 win qb. That said, is welcome him as a backup to a young qb.

RyanC883 Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 Maybe, but when the team hasn't committed to TT yet and I hear talk of "acquiring" a QB, I assume it's to be starter. Fair points. I'd be okay with him as the starter, however, if TT was traded for a top pick as mentioned in another thread. Then you start him, surround him with talent, hope he makes the playoffs, and get a franchise guy in next years draft. And I could be wrong, but I think Siemian sees the middle of the field better than TT.
YoloinOhio Posted March 2, 2017 Author Posted March 2, 2017 @ColoradoSports8 @AllbrightNFL I was just curious if it was talk around combine or just his opinion @BillsMafia607 @ColoradoSports8 Its not an opinion.

We are going nowhere until all the current talent evaluators are gone. If this doesn't prove it you just are a Dougie fanboy. The BB.com messageboard sucked so no loss and it looks like they're just directing conversation to their Facebook page, which is where a lot of brands are going - much less toxic than an anonymous message board. Plus, we have TBD, which made BB.com's messageboard obsolete before it even launched... I may get destroyed for this. But I think this is a great idea. And from what I am reading we may be able to trade him as well. (at least a 3rd round pick and maybe a 5th or 6th would be fine with me) Getting Simien will be solid. He has a calm presence, and has some upside. We have so many other needs. Bring in Simien and draft a guy to both compete w Cardale, while solidifying many other positions in free agency and thru the draft, and this coming season will be looking a lot brighter.
Blokestradamus Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 I hope so, just so Yolo has to learn how to spell it. For obvious reasons, my phone hates this idea. Damn autocorrect.
