jrober38 Posted March 3, 2017 Posted March 3, 2017 I absolutely love this quarterback and I wish we had a 4th round pick cuz that's exactly where I'd slot him... I thought we got a compensatory 4th rounder?
BuffaloHokie13 Posted March 3, 2017 Posted March 3, 2017 I thought we got a compensatory 4th rounder? We got 0 compensatory picks
WGBillsFan Posted March 3, 2017 Posted March 3, 2017 I absolutely love this quarterback and I wish we had a 4th round pick cuz that's exactly where I'd slot him... Agree....if we had a 4th that is where I would take him....not sure he will drop into the 5th but you never know!
Formerly Allan in MD Posted March 3, 2017 Posted March 3, 2017 He likely projects as a backup QB. But I think he is better than EJ. And he has the potential to surprise. Of course, the Pats** will draft him in the 6th and he becomes the next Brady with our luck. Being better than EJ is not a big vote of confidence.
The Jokeman Posted March 5, 2017 Posted March 5, 2017 I'd take him in the 3rd Round. He feels like a WCO QB to me. I admit his arm.doesnt look super strong from his highlights but he seems to do well in hitting WRs in stride.
MAJBobby Posted March 5, 2017 Posted March 5, 2017 So, it looks like there is a possibility the Bills will pass up on TT if they fall in love with a QB at the combine or feel a veteran FA would be a better option. If we decide to draft a guy, I would love to see us land this guy. He seems like he could be a potential franchise QB. You can argue that Kizer, Trubisky, and Watson are the top three at the position and will most likely go in the first round, but I really like this Nathan Peterman guy in the second round. He seems like he would be a perfect fit in our new offensive system with his skillset, but most importantly, he has the ability to read across the field. Below is a write up from NFL.com: http://www.nfl.com/combine/profiles/nathan-peterman?id=2558191 If we do decide to settle on this guy, I am sure he will be there in the second round. So that gives us an opportunity to go after one of the top WR prospects or a replacement for Stephon Gilmore. I don't see us taking a Safety that high, but we could go after Reuben Foster if he lights up the combine and is still available. The later prospect would only be in play if McD doesn't think Preston Brown is capable in his scheme, and we don't re-sign Zach Brown. I think he is a Ryan Fitzpatrick type QB. A top end BU.
C.Biscuit97 Posted March 5, 2017 Posted March 5, 2017 I think he is a Ryan Fitzpatrick type QB. A top end BU. I think on his best day he might be Fitz. As bad as Fitz could be, he is still one of the best qbs on the planet. Most of these guys can only dream of having the career Fitz had.
YoloinOhio Posted March 24, 2017 Posted March 24, 2017 Bills are bringing him in for a pre-draft visit. Matt Miller's latest mock have the Bills selecting him at 44. Thoughts on him for Dennison offense? NFL.com Draft profile here - comparison to Derek Carr http://www.nfl.com/draft/2017/profiles/nathan-peterman?id=2558191
End The Drought Posted March 24, 2017 Posted March 24, 2017 I think the Derek Carr comparison is a little rich. Had a great senior bowl game but he is the kid that had to transfer from Tennessee because Josh Dobbs took his spot.
thunderingsquid Posted March 24, 2017 Posted March 24, 2017 (edited) I'd be fine with him in the 5th or if we get another pick before that. Edited March 24, 2017 by thunderingsquid

Buffalo716 Posted March 24, 2017 Posted March 24, 2017 Yea seen a bunch of him... Nothing like Carr at all. Carr has a howlitzer while this guy carries a .22 I remember his first few years at Tennessee where he didn't even make it out of his first start Substantially improved at Pitt , but is 100% a system QB I'd take a flyer round 4 Pitt QBs always pop up around draft time because they run a pro style system And look great in shrine games and senior games
Royale with Cheese Posted March 24, 2017 Posted March 24, 2017 Trubisky and Peterman are my two favorite QB's in the draft. I'm starting to lean towards the best defensive playmaker at 10 and Peterman in the 2nd.
bills7834 Posted March 24, 2017 Posted March 24, 2017 (edited) I like that he can read the whole field and make quick decisions. While it would be great if he had all the physical tools if I had to take one I'd go with the ability to read defenses and anticipate wr's getting open. Edited March 24, 2017 by bills7834
Doc Posted March 24, 2017 Posted March 24, 2017 What Bills VIP is he related to that he deserves a second thread?
YoloinOhio Posted March 24, 2017 Posted March 24, 2017 What Bills VIP is he related to that he deserves a second thread?i didn't find it initially but see there is one from 3/2. Can a trusty mod merge for yolo the idiot?
White Linen Posted March 24, 2017 Posted March 24, 2017 Peterman has big hands. That's not good. They'll take longer to warm up in the Buffalo cold.
Royale with Cheese Posted March 24, 2017 Posted March 24, 2017 Peterman has big hands. Throws with great anticipation.
