Arthur Jones signed a 5-year, $33 million contract with the Colts in 2014. He's now cut after playing just 17 games

His brother put that much up his nose last week.

Now that B. Tate's contract is accounted for, Bills have aprx $10.1M cap space. About $6.4M needed for rookies. Then $2.4M avail added 6/1.

The $6.4m for rookies thing is a touch misleading. Only impact from the draft is on the top 51 contracts.

Only the 1st, 2nd, 3rd round picks would qualify and the top 51 impact would be a shade over $3m in total.

and we still havent touched anyones contracts via restructure like Cordy and Marcel.....could easily grap another 10 million of space between those two

@rapsheet

#Bengals cut LB Rey Maualuga, who had 104 starts over 8 seasons. With a cap hit of nearly $4M, he was doomed after Kevin Minter signed

This might be an option over Z. brown depending on what D the Bengals run?

They run a 4-3.

PFF's 3rd-worst LB last year of all qualifiers. From memory, he's a fairly hefty Mike as well, which we already have plenty of.

The lack of interest in Gerald Hodges is somewhat unexpected. On a woeful 49ers team, he was really good last year. Would fit the WLB profile.

He'll probably end up with the Chargers seeing that they lost Teo

I still can't believe Johnathan Hankins is unsigned. He must have really priced himself out of the market.

I said it a few pages ago, but I'd love to go after him over all these other fringe level talents being mentioned. He wants too much money, but if we could restructure a couple of contracts and work out a way to bring him in he could serve as the long term replacement to Kyle and create one less spot we'll need to fill in the next season or two while giving us very strong depth on the DL this year.

I think many view Washington as the long-term replacement to Kyle
