mannc Posted March 15, 2017 Posted March 15, 2017 @albertbreer Pats offered Dont'a Hightower $10 million per last summer. I'd expect new deal to come in at a base of $10M-$11M/year. Tough market for him. Yep, times are tough...
26CornerBlitz Posted March 15, 2017 Posted March 15, 2017 @AaronWilson_NFL Eddie Lacy deal: $4.25M, $2.85M gtd, $1.365M salary (gtd), $385K weight bonus, $62.5K per game active, $1.3M rush yds incentive

Chuck Wagon Posted March 15, 2017 Posted March 15, 2017 Haha! Who is going to comp my Sunday ticket!? Come on Buffalo get your **** together!! Thankfully we have fantasy football... None of the guys we are losing and none of the guys available are the difference between making the playoffs or not.
NewEra Posted March 15, 2017 Posted March 15, 2017 (edited) None of the guys we are losing and none of the guys available are the difference between making the playoffs or not. We've read your last 1,458 posts. We know this Edited March 15, 2017 by NewEra
CommonCents Posted March 15, 2017 Author Posted March 15, 2017 None of the guys we are losing and none of the guys available are the difference between making the playoffs or not. Sadly, Hunter was one of the only pass catchers that Taylor would actually let make a play inside the redzone. It's just another drop in the bucket which indicates a step in the other direction for the 17' season. I have a hard time believing a team that's adopting new philosophies on O and D is going to improve, then add in the exodus of talent and any mention of playoffs is coming from planet delusia.

Mark Vader Posted March 15, 2017 Posted March 15, 2017 comp picks reallllly flowing in now! WooHoo!!! This is what all the fans here wanted.

Or...maybe we are drafting pass catcher's early. I liked Hunter.....but seemed to be a red zone target only
26CornerBlitz Posted March 15, 2017 Posted March 15, 2017 @caplannfl LB Zach Brown and TE Jared Cook (if he leaves Vikings without a deal) are expected to arrive in Oakland this evening. WLB, MLB open jobs.
YoloinOhio Posted March 15, 2017 Posted March 15, 2017 @jasoncoleBR Told that the #Jets have offered more than $12M per season for #Patriots LB Dont'a Hightower as he gets closer to decision.

It's pretty frustrating in a salary capped sport that guys are willing to take 75% to play on a select few teams. The comparison of chess vs checkers gets tossed around a lot, but the haves and have nots in this league aren't even playing with the same pieces.
YoloinOhio Posted March 15, 2017 Posted March 15, 2017 @albertbreer Per @_SportsTrust, LB Dont'a Hightower has agreed to terms with the Patriots.
YoloinOhio Posted March 15, 2017 Posted March 15, 2017 @adamschefter Patriots are giving LB Dont'a Hightower a 4-year, $43.5M deal that includes $19M guaranteed, per @_sportstrust.
Boatdrinks Posted March 15, 2017 Posted March 15, 2017 Ugh, I feel worse about Hunter leaving than I did Hogan going to the Pats*. This team really has hot garbage at WR after Sammy , and lack size throughout the corps. No matchup guys in the RZ. Now Hightower goes back to NE. I'm really running out of any inclination to watch the NFL until Brady is gone. It's killed my love of the game. Really hating that
