People here love to laugh at the Browns but they are building a Dallas-like O-line and they have a sh-t-ton of draft picks this year, in a very deep draft. And a boatload of picks next year, too. They might very well make the playoffs before the Bills do,

I wouldn't say "Dallas-like" as that is top 3 players at their position across the whole line, which Cleveland doesn't currently have. That being said, they are mimicking a successful strategy and also stocking up on draft picks. As long as they have a good scouting department, they are using a very sound strategy and will see a massive shift in organizational success. QB is an immense question mark, but if they get that solved by the 2018/19 season, I can see them making the playoffs in short order.

Cap space not an issue for Bills after first wave of FA

http://www.buffalorumblings.com/buffalo-bills-nfl-free-agency-2017/2017/3/12/14898478/buffalo-bills-salary-cap-space-first-wave-nfl-free-agency?utm_campaign=buffalorumblings&utm_content=chorus&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter

The maximum realistic potential cap space Buffalo could have after possible restructures, post-June 1 cuts, and rookie salaries are applied is roughly $28 million. They probably couldnt spend that much right now if they wanted to.

Agreed, you have to sign your core guys (especially if they are young). This just feels like a dumb decision by the Browns. They had like $100M in cap space in addition to all of the picks. A contract like Woods got would have locked Pryor in for a few more years anyways.

just saw news flash on the bottom of the screen that said Bills add major defensive piece. I have been looking around and don't see what it is, anyone got anything?

I didn't see anything I'd guess they re-signed Alexander

I though of that too, but that's a re-signing not an add. Can't find anything otherwise tho.

...and Woodhead just went to Baltimore. The next call will be to bring in Tony Gerhart or Brian Leonard. Edited by Kirby Jackson
