Jackson showed no ill will towards the Bills for releasing him in 2015 and talked about signing a one-day deal with Buffalo as the Bills Mafia made him who he is today." Captain_Quint Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 Nice! Wonder how much Russ paid him to say this. Imagine Freddie leading the charge one more time?
Nanker Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 Well now that Shady's off the roster, resigning Freddy seems to be the right thing to do.
FireChan Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 Bring back Fred for third downs! He's better than JWill
dorquemada Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 Nice! Wonder how much Russ paid him to say this. Imagine Freddie leading the charge one more time? If they want to sell tickets, promising to let FJ play a series or two would do it for me!
BuffaloHokie13 Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 He has a career passer rating of 135.4. Bring him in!
KGun12TD Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 Gotta pay for that "high end" steak house!
Captain_Quint Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 If they want to sell tickets, promising to let FJ play a series or two would do it for me! I agree. Its a great PR move, but its also what he deserves. Hopefully it gets done and Rich Stadium is filled with the Freddie chant one more time.
FireChan Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 If we kept Fred in 2015, I think we may have made the playoffs.
nucci Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 Fred is at least as good as Reggie Bush and that's a reason to sign him?
Maddog69 Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 Gotta pay for that "high end" steak house!Yep. I was thinking how unsurprising it is that Fred is buttering up the #BillsMafia
dpberr Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 He shouldn't have been released in the first place.
YoloinOhio Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 (edited) @chrisbrownbills Fred Jackson open to retiring a Bill http://blogs.buffalobills.com/2017/02/28/fred-jackson-open-to-retiring-a-bill/ What other team would he retire with? He's unsigned and only played one year for Seattle. Edited February 28, 2017 by YoloinOhio
FireChan Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 @chrisbrownbills Fred Jackson open to retiring a Bill http://blogs.buffalobills.com/2017/02/28/fred-jackson-open-to-retiring-a-bill/ What other team would he retire with? He's unsigned and only played one year for Seattle. I think it's more of him extending an olive branch to the team. Some folks don't retire with any team.
BillsFanMike Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 Action Jackson is a real class act. I wish we had more people like him on the roster.
fridge Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 The ship has sailed but knowing what we know about Reggie Bush's season, even had Fred only rushed for like 100 yards, his presense in the locker room could have made a difference on our season. Cutting Fred in 2015 because he's too old, but bringing in the washed up Reggie Bush in 2016 was laughable. The Bush move screams Rex Ryan, but I still think we underrated Fred's leadership role the year before.
