Still making fun of Cleveland now? They will make it to the playoffs before we do

They certainly should. Extra picks in rounds 3-5 on top of what they already have can rebuild a team fast.

At least Cleveland has a plan, but they are now approaching over-kill territory. When you have that many picks their value starts to decline.

How does that happen?

2 picks in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th rounds and 3 in the 5th, plus the first pick in the 6th. I'm certainly envious.

How so?

How many rookies can you successfully assimilate into a 53 man roster? Most rookies need more than a year before they meaningfully contribute. Can you really invest that time with that many draft picks?

To me it's just more bites at the apple. I'm not necessarily looking at each pick as a player that needs a roster spot, but rather more value in overall draft capital or simply more room to address different needs.

Also, more capital for trade ups.

??????? Says every guy when there are just too many hot women to choose from who want to go home with them at closing time at the bar ,lol.

We simply have to let Gilmore and Woods walk and concentrate on getting released vets...only way to get extra picks

Yeah the blue light special vet players Doug brought in sucked for us....hated watching them in the pro bowl

If this team had made the playoffs nobody would be complaining about comp picks

That's a pretty big 'if'.

If half of Cleveland's picks work out from last year and this year, they're going to have huge salary cap problems in the next 4-5 years.

Too many good players. What a problem to have.

Pete Carrol probably lies awake at night thinking how awful it was to find an All-Pro CB in the fifth and win a Super Bowl. Nightmarish.

Sure, if they're all stars. Terrible problem to have.

their team is run by a crook, a lawyer and a baseball executive. What could go wrong?

You can only keep so many. Ask Pete Carroll about that and see how many super bowls he's won since he had to bleed off good players. ...and every team has 5th round pro bowl players. Heck, our QB is a 6th rounder.

Are you being serious? You wouldn't trade the past 5 years for those that Seattle has had?

I'm sure that's a big concern in Cleveland right now.

Seattle didn't get there by having 12 picks in one draft. They got there by being smart with who they chose -- then they had to make tough choices regarding who they kept vs. who they let go. I didn't say anything about Seattle's last 5 years and whether I want the Bills to have that kind of success.

The Pro Bowl ain't All-Pro.

Pete's made the playoffs 5 years in a row with 2 SB appearances. He must be crushed.

and what plan is that? Let go of every player with any sort of talent and collect draft picks and cap space, then pray some of those picks turn into good players and grossly overpay for FAs to convince them to sign for a team that has been a complete dumpster fire laughingstock since they were brought back in the league? How could that plan fail?
