BuffaloHokie13 Posted February 24, 2017 Posted February 24, 2017 (edited) Adam SchefterVerified account@AdamSchefter 19m19 minutes ago NFL awarded compensatory draft picks early this year. Here's the full list of extra picks for teams: Holy cow, as if Cleveland didn't have enough they get an additional 3rd, 2 4th's, and 5th round pick... So, if I'm not mistaken, Cleveland picks (Rd (Overall Pick)): 1 (1) 1 (12) 2 (33) 2 (52) 3 (65) 3 (103) 4 (139) 4 (142) 5 (145) 5 (176) 5 (183) 6 (187) Edited February 24, 2017 by BuffaloHokie13
Pete Posted February 24, 2017 Posted February 24, 2017 We better get a **** ton of picks next year when Gilmore, Woods, Brown, Lorax walk!
Mark Vader Posted February 24, 2017 Posted February 24, 2017 I have never seen so many 3rd round compensatory picks awarded. These picks can now be traded.
Rico Posted February 24, 2017 Posted February 24, 2017 None for the Bills this year. Another masterful job by Lil Doug, he may suck at drafting players but he sure knows how to work the FA side of player personnel. .
4merper4mer Posted February 24, 2017 Posted February 24, 2017 This is crap and not based on any formula.
John from Riverside Posted February 24, 2017 Posted February 24, 2017 None for the Bills this year. Another masterful job by Lil Doug, he may suck at drafting players but he sure knows how to work the FA side of player personnel. . Yeah the blue light special vet players Doug brought in sucked for us....hated watching them in the pro bowl If this team had made the playoffs nobody would be complaining about comp picks
H2o Posted February 24, 2017 Posted February 24, 2017 That's insane. That is an extra 17 players off of the board before we get our two 5th Round selections.
ndirish1978 Posted February 24, 2017 Posted February 24, 2017 Still making fun of Cleveland now? They will make it to the playoffs before we do
BillsFan2313 Posted February 24, 2017 Posted February 24, 2017 Still making fun of Cleveland now? They will make it to the playoffs before we do We aren't supposed to make fun of Cleveland because of comp picks? Ok.
Beef Jerky Posted February 24, 2017 Posted February 24, 2017 (edited) Still making fun of Cleveland now? They will make it to the playoffs before we do No they won't, I doubt this they get 2 starters from all those picks. Edited February 24, 2017 by Beef Jerky

YoloinOhio Posted February 24, 2017 Posted February 24, 2017 (edited) The Browns had to build a whole new wing for all their Cap Space championships and Comp pick trophies at the Berea complex. It's damn impressive, haters. Edited February 24, 2017 by YoloinOhio
ndirish1978 Posted February 24, 2017 Posted February 24, 2017 No they won't, I doubt this they get 2 starters from all those picks. I'll take that bet. Terms?
Jamie Nails Posted February 24, 2017 Posted February 24, 2017 Anyone who is pissed shouldn't point fingers at the Front office. We would have received picks if the low budget free agents we signed didn't perform so well. It is what it is, just sucks that we'll lose Brown and Zo and have nothing to show his upcoming season
YoloinOhio Posted February 24, 2017 Posted February 24, 2017 (edited) They didn't get comp picks because they signed their own FAs, Glenn and incognito. Next year they will when they lose Gilmore and Woods, and possibly Z Brown, since they will get big deals and that's largely what the formula is based on. Plenty to complain about but not sure this is one. Edited February 24, 2017 by YoloinOhio
BuffaloRebound Posted February 24, 2017 Posted February 24, 2017 At least Cleveland has a plan, but they are now approaching over-kill territory. When you have that many picks their value starts to decline.
Delete This Account Posted February 24, 2017 Posted February 24, 2017 it's clearly Berchtold's fault. jw
