Didn't that eviction provision include only federally subsidised housing?

Yes.  They left it up to the states with just a blanket recommendation of halting evictions of those who can't pay their rent due to Covid.  In NYS you can't evict anybody until August 20th.

"In June and July, Fox News was the highest-rated television channel in the prime-time hours of 8 to 11 p.m. Not just on cable."

"Not just among news networks. All of television.

The average live Fox News viewership in those hours outstripped cable rivals like CNN, MSNBC and ESPN, as well as the broadcast networks ABC, CBS and NBC, according to Nielsen.

That three-hour slot is a narrow but significant slice of TV real estate, and it is exceedingly rare for a basic-cable channel to outrank the Big Three broadcasters, which are available in more households and offer a wider variety of programming. Even the return of live sports did little to stop the momentum:

The Fox News programs hosted by Mr. Carlson and Sean Hannity drew more live viewers than competing baseball and basketball games, including a Yankees-Nationals matchup on Opening Day.... MSNBC, whose liberal prime time is an ideological inverse to Fox News, has increased its audience from a year ago. But Rachel Maddow, once neck and neck with [Sean] Hannity at 9 p.m., has fallen behind all three of Fox News’s prime-time stars in total viewers. [Laura] Ingraham, who appears in the less desirable 10 p.m. slot, has drawn more viewers than Ms. Maddow for many months....

Deprived of rallies, President Trump came up with the mind-numbing idea to hold not one but two news conferences at his exclusive country club this weekend. The audience was nearly all rich White men (able to pay several hundreds of thousands of dollars for club membership and fees) who hooted at the press and applauded Trump as a pandemic rages outside.

Consider the psychology of a person who needs to stage such events — and who convinces himself they are a reflection of his true popularity. Trump is perpetually searching for ways to convince himself that he is not a disastrous president about to lose his seat.

Consider also the image of a super-rich president with super-rich friends at an exclusive club while Americans lose eviction protections, while the $600 federal unemployment subsidy legally expires and while Republicans complain that such a tiny sum (not the double-digit unemployment) encourages laziness. It would be hard to create a more damning portrait of clueless, greedy and self-satisfied elites if you tried.

Yup, the zombies want their Trump high. The propaganda works. That’s why Putin uses propaganda.

Alf, any count on how many of those 45 EO's were rescinding 44's EO's?  Pretty sure that's a significant amount of them.

Your posts are primary evidence in support of this argument. ?

Oh please.

You keep supporting the man who is single handedly making the GOP a laughing stock.

The man is a FRAUD and always has been.

Golfing by Obama VERY BAD

Executive orders by Obama VERY BAD

Yet, here comes Don making Obama look like a Saint.

Has any other Republican POTUS driven more Republicans from the party?

and sure lets add in the Democrat side as well.

Has any other Democratic POTUS driven more Democrats from the party?

EOs by both could be bad, IMO. However, if one side is willing to use a pen and a phone ? the other side (that would be the Rs) should read Alinsky and make the Ds play by the same rules.

BTW, you did see that it was a 1997 law that allowed a President to cancel payroll taxes, right? ?
