I don’t think Jesus was looking for new pair of Nikes or a flat screen.

They'll answer for that.

I don't think her second comment is all that out of line about sowing discord on social media and funding pockets of people to escalate the protest activities. There is some truth there and I would wager it isn't just Russia, but any foreign country that would benefit from slowing America's economic recovery.

The truly repulsive issue is the media's coverage of these Russa-funded activities is favorable and protective. What does that make them, ultimately? Might be wise to accept her speculation and then take a close look at who is speaking favorably about those activities.

Microsoft lays off journalists to replace them with AI

Microsoft News and MSN is increasingly being run by robots

Microsoft is laying off dozens of journalists and editorial workers at its Microsoft News and MSN organizations. The layoffs are part of a bigger push by Microsoft to rely on artificial intelligence to pick news and content that’s presented on MSN.com, inside Microsoft’s Edge browser, and in the company’s various Microsoft News apps. Many of the affected workers are part of Microsoft’s SANE (search, ads, News, Edge) division, and are contracted as human editors to help pick stories.

Journalism in the passive voice: "The statue Forward, on the Capitol grounds facing State Street, is covered in paint."

A caption under a disturbing photograph, in "Photos: Madison anti-police protests enter Day 3 with promise of more to come" (Wisconsin State Journal).

Another caption: "Several windows on State Street were freshly shattered early Tuesday morning."

It's as if windows shatter on their own and statues ooze paint from within.

The "Forward" statue is the most important public sculpture in Madison, I believe. It embodies the state's motto and it is situated at the top of State Street in front of the Capitol.
