Pine Barrens Mafia Posted July 3, 2017 Posted July 3, 2017 You're ignorant. He was a US senator for 3 and an Illinois state senator for 7. Graduated from Columbia and Harvard law, president of the Harvard Law Review. He was a civil rights attorney, professor and community organizer. Way more than you or Trump have done, pissant.
Tiberius Posted July 3, 2017 Posted July 3, 2017 What, like electing a completely unqualified guy....because he's black? No, you see him as unqualified BECAUSE he is black and are now justifying a bigoted incompetent because he is bigoted
boyst Posted July 3, 2017 Posted July 3, 2017 Some Americans have higher aspirations for their country than you. like throwing an election to a woman who was completely un-electable to avoid having a socialist loon whom would have accomplished nothing in office? play in traffic.
DC Tom Posted July 3, 2017 Posted July 3, 2017 Some Americans have higher aspirations for their country than you. Most don't.
row_33 Posted July 3, 2017 Posted July 3, 2017 Grandpa doesn't quite get the hipster code of using Twitter. IMPEACH HIM!!!! what a bunch of !@#$ing fools the Dems and Trump-haters are... It's okay, the US has survived an amazing assortment of idiots and crooks and truly mentally/physically incapacitated for their last years as POTUS. This is nothing. This is probably the biggest attack and onslaught on a President since Lincoln.
Doc Brown Posted July 3, 2017 Posted July 3, 2017 It wouldn't let me just copy the image, but Michael Che's post about Trump is not just true but worth the quick read: https://www.instagram.com/p/BWA2eK5lLO9/ Yeah. It's basically the media continuing to feed the troll. The only counter I'd add to that his approval rating continues to be in the upper 30's / lower 40's with a thriving economy, low gas prices, and an excellent foreign policy team. I know the media is obsessed, but his tweets do more harm to him than good and the media should still cover them. Just stop acting like every stupid thing the guy says on twitter is an imminent threat to our democracy.

Has anyone really been correct??? With full respect as you are an intelligent and thoughtful poster...

With full respect as you are an intelligent and thoughtful poster... Of course not. I thought he'd be another Herman Cain when he announced he was running for president. I was wrong. He ran a brilliant campaign and I got an odd look from my wife when I said he could actually win this thing before the election, but I still thought Hillary would squeak out a win. The only point I was trying to make is his approval rating is lower than what would be expected given how well our economy is doing. What happens to his public approval if we go into a recession?

Yup..... not sure how to react to all this, sometimes I laugh and sometimes I wince.... I don't gloat like a lot of very conservative friends do... Maybe since the economy is dwarfed by millions of stories about Russia, there cannot be a connection of worthiness established? Reagan took the country immediately into a huge recession on purpose and he ended up fine for the history books. All the people who attacked him non-stop for his admin kissed his behind and his coffin when he died... is there any way hillary can win in 2020? I see no reason she won't weasel her way to the nomination, if she wants it.

Benjamin Franklin Posted July 3, 2017 Posted July 3, 2017 Please explain specifically what he has done to prove he is unfit to be president, and specifically what damage he's causing. Do you honestly think a white Barack Obama beats Hillary? White Barack Obama never makes it in Illinois to begin with. Hell, black Barack Obama barely made in Illinois without first getting someone's divorce docs unsealed. But you keep playing the race card. It got you eight years of Barack, which got you four years of Trump. His statement wasn't made in a void. And white guys had a nice long run of winning because they weren't minority women in the US. It's not why they won perhaps but it's why they didn't lose. So to look at Obama and say he won because he's black eviscerates how good of a politician he was in the name of race. Most don't. Most do. But we're drawn to watch the car crash and for whole mistake it for the state of the world. Things have rarely been better for us as a people but you'd think the sky was falling. Reps and Dems running around like it's the end of times.

gatorbait Posted July 3, 2017 Posted July 3, 2017 Hahaha community organizer. That community could use some more organizing. I think the last tally was about 40 people shot so far this holiday weekend. What do you know someone blamed something on Obama again. The list contains things most people could never accomplish and it's laughable how you point to that one thing. List Trump's accomplishments for me, besides running a company that he wouldn't even have if his dad didn't leave him millions. is there any way hillary can win in 2020?I don't think so. The Dems need someone to step up or they may be stuck with her again for the nomination. It will be like the twilight zone if it is Trump vs Hillary again in 2020.
