Counterpoint: "Yes, we can, because we're Democrats!"

yes, they just make up the rules as they go along

they change queens in the middle of chess games, usually demanding both queens are now theirs

This is an interesting decision by the 2nd Circuit, saying that Trump can't block his Twitter followers due to 1st Amendment protections of speech.   The decision is important, because it treats a private communication platform as a source for "open online dialogue"  So, in another case of careful of what you wish for, the court just opened up Twitter, etc to easier legal action by people who claim that they are banned from the platform based on their political views.

Can't have it both ways.

On his Presidential account? I agree. On his personal account? Hmmm not so sure about that. This is bad news for a lot of elected officials if it stands.  I am not certain why verbal abuse, death threats, and general nasty manners needs to be tolerated by public officials on a social media platform, but if President Trump cannot block, that means the rest of them cannot block either.

And, does this now mean that that social media is now subject to "free speech" as a private business? If so, whoa. No more banning, shadow banning, etc.

Maybe they're kings who self-identify as queens?  And why can't the pawns move anywhere they want, like the LGBTQueen?  Why are they limited to one square ahead?

Chess must be goddamned difficult for progressives.

This isn't Trump per se, but it is how the MSM treats "the other side":

And, I think it shows just how tuned out at least half (probably closer to 3/4) the people in the United States are to the MSM:

Declining influence?  Most people, if not by name, know of Carroll, as "the most recent Trump accuser."

You couldn't say the same about Mollie Hemingway.

That's the media's influence.

"the most recent Trump accuser"?  I think "the crazy cat lady with rape fantasies" is how most people know the poor  woman, if they have heard of her at all.

I think this will be a good move for CBS..I really like Norah. I think she smells BS on both sides. Good column here from Margaret Sullivan..another solid Buffalo native!

BTW, i am only speculating here..but Norah lives full time in DC, her husband is Geoff Tracy who has a chain of Chef Geoffs restaurants in DC, one in Dulles BTW..and has three kids i believe. Sure moving to DC was big win for her.

just as an aside, Chef Geoffs is an upscale Fridays in my mind, not a huge fan!

I'm somewhat surprised those networks pull in more than 20 million viewers combined at the 6pm time slot.  Makes Fox, CNN, MSNBC, etc. seem like a joke for how much people complain about them.

Cat fight!

"Paul Ryan, the failed V.P. candidate & former Speaker of the House, whose record of achievement was atrocious (except during my first two years as President), ultimately became a long running lame duck failure, leaving his Party in the lurch both as a fundraiser & leader," Trump tweeted.

except the two years he was president, lol

You need two to have a fight. I believe most conservatives would agree with Trump. Although Ryan always seemed like a nice young man he ended up being yet another swamp creature, like Mcconnell, McCain and Romney. Washington DC had beaten them all down.

Most Trump supports would agree! When you say "Conservative" I'm not even sure what that means anymore?
