The surname of the Dana Scully character on the television show The X-Files is an homage to Vin Scully, as the show's creator Chris Carter is a Dodgers fan; Scully himself can be heard calling a game in the Season 6 episode "The Unnatural"

Nice try with the Peter Pan links but nope.

Chris Carter:. All he does is write bad TV shows.

I wonder how many white power signs the Cubs' manager flashes during a game while signaling the base runners and batters...

That sign is as old as Satchell Paige. It means "Steal, Cracker".

Just to show how much bias there is in our news media, the Hill has two, top of the web page, stories about SNL skits last night and CNN has one at the top of their homepage.

Headline News stories about comedy skits that attack Republicans and Trump.

That's NOT news !

""What would it take for President Trump to lose your support?""

And of course, the funnier skit would be "What would it take for you TO vote for Donald Trump.

Google´s left-leaning media bias revealed: How CNN, The New York Times and The Washington Post were promoted over their right-wing counterparts by the search engine*

by Jennifer Smith

Original Article

Google´s bias towards left-wing media outlets has been laid bare by an algorithm which detected that it favors sites including CNN and The New York Times over others. According to data compiled by researchers from Northwestern University, the search engine promoted those sites over others repeatedly in November 2017. Of the 6,302 articles that appeared in Google´s ´top stories´ page that month after a term was searched, more than 10 percent were by CNN. The New York Times was the second most favored and accounted for 6.5 percent of articles. The Washington Post was third with 5.6 percent.

I may be wrong, but so much that goes into the natural search ranking is total impressions, links to other sites, clicks etc. More people lean left, more media leans left, hense CNN, NYT, and WAPO naturally will be top of the list. Maybe someone that has a much deeper understanding of the rankings and SEO can weigh in, but this seems to not offer any substance, only the recognition that more people get their news from those sources than other sources.

I mean, all I hear is the MSM leans left, it is the entirety of this thread, so those search results make perfect sense to me

The issue is they (google/FB/Twitter/Insta) rig the whole game, suppressing sites/articles/opinions that don't conform to their own political agenda as a company. Which makes those impressions even higher than they'd otherwise be.
