I wouldn't agree with his assessment of her comment. She was pretty clearly talking about exposing (to "f*ck sh*t up") abuses of power by anyone.

True. But it's empty words when she's unwilling to hold the previous administration's feet to the fire in her never Trumpist coverage of the past two years.

The report said 64% blame the media and 56% blame Trump.

Oh, I'm not excusing her bullschiff since going to NPCNN - she's still a complete hypocrite. The assessment of her comment was simply inaccurate.

And yes, even though she's a fake conservative, I'd still do her.

I was going to say it's the media trying to make it seem like its closer, but in turn proves the point of the survey, but then I saw it is the federalist and it is likely a typo and should be 46

She's far nicer that I am. I would simply let him know that I cannot stop them releasing my information, but that if anything happens to my family,  I will hold him personally responsible, and that any harm will be revisited on him and his tenfold.

Why can't we doxxx these reporters?

I'm sure it won't be long before reporters are doxxxed. Their numbers and information are everywhere.

Honest question here. How do you guys feel about Trump's proposal to circumvent the 14th amendment?

I don't believe the 14th amendment grants citizenship to the children of illegal aliens, or even legal aliens who are not permanent residents.

Again...the 14th may not.  8 USC 1401, however, clearly does.

I think we're long past due, as a nation, to have a serious legal discussion of the 14th, and I think this prompts it.

I think you're aware that the 14th wasn't intended to be used the way it is in your argument,  and an Origionalist interpretation would require reading the purpose of the Amendment into the understanding of the text.

That said, if necessary, I don't think it would be an insurmountable hurdle to amend the Document to disallow birthright citizenship for the children of illegal aliens.  (I'm of the opinion that it should be done away with completely for everyone.)

No.  It's not.  They asked respondents two separate questions.

Generally, would you say President Trump has done more to unite or divide the country since he took office?  30% unite , 56% divide, rest undecided

Generally, would you say the national news media has done more to unite or divide the country since President Trump took office? 17% unite, 64% divide, rest undecided.

What's interesting is 44% of male democrats and 47% of female democrats said they've done more to divide the country.  I'm guessing they have Fox News in mind or left leading MSM outlets who've hurt democrats since the election focusing on Russia and porn star scandals.

Gun grabbers apply the same argument to #2A

That said, I think we are long overdue for a Constitutional Convention

I don't think it does. I'm not familiar with the legislative history, but the relevant language mirrors that of the 14th amendment. It comes down to what is meant by jurisdiction. It appears to mean complete jurisdiction, like not having allegiance to any foreign country.

The alternative interpretation violates canons of statutory interpretation. It reads a clause out of existence and renders an absurd outcome.
