Tiberius
Quote The Senate on Thursday went on record declaring “that the press is not the enemy of the people” — a rebuke to President Donald Trump, who declares the opposite on a regular basis. Senators adopted by unanimous consent a resolution from Democratic Sen. Brian Schatz of Hawaii and Minority Leader Charles E. Schumer of New York to declare the Senate’s support for a free press and the First Amendment protections afforded to journalists. The resolution text was released the same day 350 newspapers ran editorials designed to push back on Trump’s criticisms of the media. https://www.rollcall.com/news/politics/senate-adopts-resolution-declares-press-not-enemy

Koko78
I love how the "free press" has so innocently spun Trump's comment that 'fake news is the enemy of the people' into an attack on all journalists. It's almost like they're going out of the way to make themselves the story. Acosta should sue for gimmick infringement.

They spin everything to fit their narrative of Trump hate to appease their retarded base. You know, the six brain dead liberals that actually watch CNN. It's pure comedy at this point. Remember when they spun the fish food episode with the Japanese Prime Minister? That's just one example of a trillion of them.

3rdnlng
Headline on MSN is "Trump To Shake Up Military Leaders". Sorta sounds like just a little more turmoil in his administration, eh? Now read the article, he's replacing Generals, etc. who are retiring. http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/trump-to-shake-up-military-leadership-with-new-nominations-report/ar-BBM8rW0?li=BBnbfcL&ocid=HPCOMMDHP15 President Trump is expected to switch out commanders across the Middle East and Europe in the administration's most dramatic change to the US military leadership so far, according to a new report from The Wall Street Journal. The Journal reported that the personnel shifts will affect officers fighting in the Middle East, as well as those working to counter Russia, overseeing Guantanamo Bay and engaging in stealth operations around the world. Officials told the Journal that Army Lt. Gen. Richard Clarke is anticipated to be formally appointed to U.S. Special Operations Command, in Tampa, Fla. He would succeed Army Gen. Tony Thomas, who will retire next year. The Special Operations Command oversees the specialized forces of all military branches. As of now, Clarke serves as the director of strategic plans and policy for the Pentagon's Joint Staff. He also served as operation officer at Joint Special Operations Command when the Pentagon initiated the raid that killed Osama Bin Laden. At that post, Clarke played a key role in the mission, participating in the planning, training and execution of the raid. Trump will likely nominate two other commanders to replace retiring heads of regional combatant commands, several U.S. officials told the Journal. Air Force Gen. Tod Wolters is anticipated to be chosen to head the U.S. European Command and North Atlantic Treaty Organization Supreme Allied Commander, Europe. That's not what Twitter is. They had their chance............... Everyone is a journalist on Twitter, and they hate that. This isn't hard stuff.. We don't have to wait for them for information anymore. We don't need ESPN for scores. We can check the weather whenever we want and we don't need Tom Brokaw to tell us through his worldview what is happening around us anymore. They cannot accept this. BUT STEPHEN.....PEOPLE OUT THERE....THEY ARE BELIEVING THE *WRONG* THINGS. And that leads to the WRONG people winning elections and stuff! Stetler knows this needs fixing! . It boggles the mind how bad the left is at this. You would think once they started barking about Trump being a draft dodger, someone on the left would have stood up and said something like "Ummm, folks, if we're going to spend the next two years melting down, let's do better." But no. Now we see journalists trying to explain that maybe Trump isn't right in the head. Just ridiculous. Especially after they spent all their time trying to elect this a woman who couldn't even climb a flight of stairs without handlers.
