That is why the claims have made so little sense. He's a well-documented germaphobe (honestly).  On the other hand... men.

As far as handshaking... he'd have to do it as part of business. Bet he buys Purell by the bucketload. I truly think he had such respect for the armed forces, and police, firemen, EMTs, etc - he always greets them with a smile that seems so very genuine.

I don’t doubt Trump has played the field.

Mixing with a huge crowd is a burden, handshaking is horrible, you can get hurt, goodness knows what is on 125 people’s hands, lose a ring or watch.

 

one time I had to make an emergency trip into the deep woods at a golf course, called it a day after that, drove up to a man hosting the event, he insisted on shaking my hand after I told him five times not to. Oh well....

I do not understand how he had access to Facebook from his jail cell in Venezuela (not germane to the topic).

It is nevertheless a great story that the Trump administration secured his release.  The loonies are all over Twitter bitching that he is going to the White House before going home to Utah. Some people are never happy.

Their headline story, though, is that it's the two year anniversary of Trump calling the judge in the Trump University a "Mexican."
