26CornerBlitz Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 @AdamSchefter Chicago Bears have actively started seeking a trade partner for quarterback Jay Cutler, per @JeffDarlington.
Mike in Horseheads Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 I think we should trade our 10th round pick for him.
aristocrat Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 he's such a bad qb. ha this is great stuff.
B-Man Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 if he is cut...............sure .........take a look at him Trade ??..................don't make me laugh.
boyst Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 Guess who's coming to dinnerI wouldn't even take his ass to golden corral
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 (edited) I probably would do this if the bears gave us their first round pick and offered a complete apology in advance. Edited February 21, 2017 by JR in Pittsburgh
26CornerBlitz Posted February 21, 2017 Author Posted February 21, 2017 Of note: @JeffDarlington Cutler is 33. He has no guaranteed money left. If non-competitive team tries to give up late pick, he can sit out or retire. Teams know it.
CDogg20 Posted February 22, 2017 Posted February 22, 2017 I have a feeling he lands with the Jets. Can't explain why just a hunch.

Can't explain why just a hunch. @ChrisWesseling New Jets QBs coach Jeremy Bates may be the foremost authority on Cutler. Coached him with Broncos and Bears, maintained a good relationship.
BarleyNY Posted February 22, 2017 Posted February 22, 2017 Would be stunned if any team paid his current contract. All nonguaranteed money, but he's due $15M, $16M, $20M and $21.7M in each of the next 4 years. That's a ton of money for a guy who looks totally washed up.

transient Posted February 22, 2017 Posted February 22, 2017 (edited) If Smokin' Jay ends up on the Bills roster it's verification that Whaley inherently hates his football coaches. Edited February 22, 2017 by transient
Mark Vader Posted February 22, 2017 Posted February 22, 2017 if he is cut...............sure .........take a look at him Trade ??..................don't make me laugh. Exactly. Nobody should trade for him. Now if he gets cut.....different story.
keepthefaith Posted February 22, 2017 Posted February 22, 2017 Exactly. Nobody should trade for him. Now if he gets cut.....different story. Yes if he's cut he should sign with any team but Buffalo.
YoloinOhio Posted February 22, 2017 Posted February 22, 2017 (edited) I can't remember if cutler and B Marshall are friends or hate each other this week but I think he will go to the Jets. It would be super Jetsy for this to happen. He can also reunite with Forte. Edited February 22, 2017 by YoloinOhio
Mark Vader Posted February 22, 2017 Posted February 22, 2017 Yes if he's cut he should sign with any team but Buffalo. All kidding aside, if the Bears were to release Cutler, does that make him the best available QB in free agency?
Andrew Son Posted February 22, 2017 Posted February 22, 2017 All kidding aside, if the Bears were to release Cutler, does that make him the best available QB in free agency? If there are any other available QB's, no.
