FireChan
@rapsheet #Dolphins expected deal for Julius Thomas is for a 7th in '17. #Jaguars expected deal for Branden Albert if completed is for a '18 late pick That's VERY cheap. Wow. Only 2 years removed from back to back 12 TD seasons and 1200 yards. Edited February 20, 2017 by FireChan
YoloinOhio
He did his best work under Adam Gase in Denver. Good pickup for them if he stays healthy. They really needed a TE and are loaded with pass catchers.

Blake Bortles is no Peyton Manning but is Julius Thomas as good as Charles Clay? Time will tell. Edited February 20, 2017 by The Jokeman

They still haven't replaced Clay since he left. Jordan Cameron was a FA bust.

Estro
Very good move for the Dolphins. On top of the low price, it appears they've agreed on a new deal which will likely be much less than what the was owed by the Jaguars, which signals another win for them. Much better than agreeing to a trade, and immediately giving them a raise (cough: McCoy: cough) when you don't need to.

GunnerBill
Hmmm. He has been a real disappointment in Jacksonville. It is pretty low risk I suppose but I am not convinced it is a great move.

CommonCents
It's a good move for Thomas. Gase must feel that he can get him back to being a productive player. Two 7ths and you land a threat like Thomas and reunite him with his old OC? Not bad.
frogger
not concerned, he's a tall finesse TE, can't block and leaves the game a lot.
