YoloinOhio Posted February 20, 2017 Posted February 20, 2017 @rapsheet #Dolphins expected deal for Julius Thomas is for a 7th in '17. #Jaguars expected deal for Branden Albert if completed is for a '18 late pick

Wow. Only 2 years removed from back to back 12 TD seasons and 1200 yards. Edited February 20, 2017 by FireChan
YoloinOhio Posted February 20, 2017 Author Posted February 20, 2017 He did his best work under Adam Gase in Denver. Good pickup for them if he stays healthy. They really needed a TE and are loaded with pass catchers.

Blake Bortles is no Peyton Manning but is Julius Thomas as good as Charles Clay? Time will tell. Edited February 20, 2017 by The Jokeman

White Linen Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 This is really a nice move for the Dolphins.
Estro Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 Very good move for the Dolphins. On top of the low price, it appears they've agreed on a new deal which will likely be much less than what the was owed by the Jaguars, which signals another win for them. Much better than agreeing to a trade, and immediately giving them a raise (cough: McCoy: cough) when you don't need to.
Over 29 years of fanhood Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 Great player or beneficiary of playing with a nearly GOAT QB...?
Captain_Quint Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 This is the worst news I've heard since Greg Olsons brother was arrested for rape.
GunnerBill Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 Hmmm. He has been a real disappointment in Jacksonville. It is pretty low risk I suppose but I am not convinced it is a great move.
CommonCents Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 It's a good move for Thomas. Gase must feel that he can get him back to being a productive player. Two 7ths and you land a threat like Thomas and reunite him with his old OC? Not bad.
frogger Posted February 22, 2017 Posted February 22, 2017 not concerned, he's a tall finesse TE, can't block and leaves the game a lot.
