Did Assange's lawyer recant his statement?

(no)

His statement ABOUT Rohrabacher ??

Certainly wouldn't want to believe the actual person rather than the lawyer trying to spin

How desperate you are.

Not desperate - following the facts without spinning first like you are Boy Man. Rohrabacher's recent statements contradict what he has said previously about the same subject - odd you find him so trustworthy.

The lawyer will have to back up his claim - at that time the facts will be laid out.

It appears as if Rohrabacher, on his own tried to act as an agent and broker a deal. He told Assange something along the line of "if you do this, I'll try to get Trump to pardon you". Rohrabacher never spoke to Trump about this case and even paid his own way to London. This is a media fabrication and misinterpretation.

It's the story that has dominated Donald Trump's presidency. But it's complicated. Let's take a step back.

In summary

US intelligence agencies believe Russia tried to sway the election in favor of Mr Trump. A special counsel looked into whether anyone from his campaign colluded in the effort.

What did he find?

After two years, we have a 448-page report in which the special counsel finds no evidence the campaign conspired with Russia.

Is that all?

No, Robert Mueller also looked at 10 instances where the president obstructed justice. But he was unable to decide whether they amounted to a crime. His report also found that the Russian government did interfere in the election.

Everyone with an IQ above 100 realizes this.

Gary/Tibsy  do not.

would you have a link to previous claims by Rohrabacker that would contradict what he is currently saying?

Gary is a dumb person who forgets we already did this rodeo.

Comey REJECTED Assange's attempts to get a deal. This was all a part of that episode. To briefly recap:

Assange (through his people) reached out to the DOJ and Comey and offered to give evidence about the "hack" in exchange for NOT releasing the CIA vault 7 material. Comey rejected it, and Vault 7 (cyber warfare tools which were purposefully kept un-classified so IC contractors could wield them without clearances) was released to the wild. Included in the vault 7 drop was not only proof that the CIA has been able to hack cars for years (cough -- Michael Hastings/Brennan -- cough), but also that the NSA/CIA routinely deployed cyber tools which FAKED the digital fingerprints of their adversaries to mask operations.

In other words, Vault 7 shows how the data was fudged to create the "hack" narrative. Comey chose to keep the coup going, at grave risk to the country, instead of protecting our national security.

Assange's lawyer's statement directly contradicts with these facts (yes, they're facts, not speculations).

Now, Chuck, you know how this works. They don't reveal those details (because they don't exist), they fuel rumor and innuendo through anonymous "intelligence" officials using their media cut-outs. No surprise Fusion Ken Dillian was the one who ran with this story first.

So he responds by putting a toady in charge of our intelligence. Bypasses checks and balances, of course, so he is an acting toady in charge of intelligence as the election nears. He's trying to steal the 2020 election, obviously

Trump set off by intelligence assertion that Russia favors him

After a senior U.S. intelligence official told lawmakers last week that Russia wants to see President Trump reelected, he erupted at his acting director of national intelligence, Joseph Maguire, viewing him and his staff as disloyal for telling Congress about Russia’s perceived preference.

No wonder the Dems are terrified of Bernie winning the nomination.  Because if he does, there goes the "Russia favors Trump" claim, since they'd obviously favor the Commie.

Any thinking person would realize that Russia would prefer most anybody else other than Trump. Trump has been harder on Russia than any of his predecessors and has gotten NATO countries to spend a substantial amount of money over what they were previously spending. His energy policies have had the effect of making Russia our little b-i-t-c-h.

Russia is going to interfere in our elections this year and for many years to come. It'll mean nothing if we don't get sucked into their game. They succeeded in the last few years because the dems hated Trump so much that they were willing to fall in line with Russia's game.

Don't worry.  Tiberius will be here tomorrow morning proclaiming that he is not Putin's b-i-t-c-h even though we all know better.

Putting this here, and the DS thread too because it's a big signal of where they're going.

Good thing Trump had staffers to discredit the Russian probe. That whole 'lack of evidence' thing was just too weak on its own.
