That's terrific. Great post.

Unfortunately, I'm convinced there is no correction here. It has become bigger than most individuals will be able to successfully fight against. Which is why I spend less time trying to convert people and more time at the range working on accuracy.

You're very welcome, and unfortunately I'm not convinced that you're wrong.

I'm pretty sure we'll have shooting in our streets within the next 6 years.

My pleasure, you're quite welcome.

It's a condensed version of a talk given by former KGB agent and Russian defector, Yuri Bezmenov,  in 1983.

The full speech is terrific, if you have the time, but I thought the condensed version would work much better for the tl;dr culture of message boards.

You can see the full talk here:

Now take this interview, and put it in context of ALL the events that happened in 1968

Good. I like “our” chances.

Or sooner. Watch the second video below. This is the American left now. Watch her closely.

There are no winners in a civil war.

Even those who "win" lose almost everything.

Hence the reason why I think that is why Russia is trying to ignite another Civil War.

There was nothing spontaneous about all the shootings and uprisings that year.  Notice how little examination there was of James Earl Ray

Civil unrest is very rarely spontaneous.  There is a long run up of pent up animosity that eventually explodes.

Just my opinion: Russia, largely, is fighting the same enemy we are now. Doesn't make us allies, but "the enemy of my enemy" type thinking comes into play.

I'm talking about simultaneous civil unrest across the entire country

A thought crossed my mind a few weeks ago.

The same puppet masters pulling the strings who empowered Obama could very easily use him once again to start an onslaught of mayhem similar to 1968 and it would have two effects: end all of the corruption investigations and instantly begin a new, higher level of unrest.

For Democrats they'd be more fueled by someone shooting Obama than they would Trump.  Without Trump they have no figure for their hate.

Russia changing vote tallies is a better script than Russia ran an influence campaign and people like a good story more than a dull one.

Also the scenario as an influencer requires admitting we as a country are drowning in idiots if accepted.

ROGER SIMON: The Russia Probe Has Nothing to Do with Russia.

FTA:

Their recent Facebook and Twitter offerings were nothing more than the tip of an iceberg that's been sailing for years.

In other words words, there's nothing new here. The indictments of the Russian hackers by Mueller and Company were no more than a face-saving charade.  They will never be arrested and no one will care. No one remembers who they were even now, less than a year later, except that they vastly expand the number of those indicted for breathless press reports.
