Time for Mr. Sessions to sack up and get an IC into the DOJ and his FBI's stonewalling of this Constitutionally provided oversight by the Congress.

They would all take place in closed door meetings, so we're certain nothing will leak out because it will all be bad for the Dems and Schiff will (for once) not leak a thing to his reporter friends while the sessions are underway.

NOTHING TO SEE HERE, MOVE ON: At Least 18 Classified Emails Discovered On Anthony Weiner’s Laptop.

According to conservative-leaning transparency group Judicial Watch, those 798 documents–and the 18 classified emails–were released as part of the FBI’s on-again-off-again-on-again investigation into Hillary Clinton‘s private email server.

Weiner, the disgraced former New York congressman, was served divorce papers by former Clinton confidante Huma Abedin in May of last year.

The new tranche of emails on Weiner’s computer appear to emanate from Abedin’s use of a non-State Department email address located on Clinton’s private server as well as from Abedin’s personal Blackberry.

Let the investigation go where it will.

We’ll, if it’s anything like the Muller investigation, I’d take book that it will end up investigating Andrew Cuomo and Jon Corzine for their involvement with the financial collapse of 2008.

The unverified dossier alleging connections between President Trump’s campaign and the Russians was used as evidence by the FBI to gain approval from a secret court to monitor members of Trump’s team, this reporter has learned.

As we've been discussing now for a few weeks. The media is catching up. This is apparently confirmed by multiple sources.

Another link to the same info, watch the video. It shows the degree to which the Republicans on the congressional committees won’t let this go.

Maxine Waters’ motivation in releasing the transcript of the Steele hearing might have had nefarious motives. The unintended consequence might be, as Rep Jordan suggests, future stuff (as much as allowable for clearance reasons) will be in the open. This is very important because of the cognitive dissonce that is going on. I held my nose and watched how CNN was reporting this and the POTUSVSG’s latest tweets. It’s stunning the degree to which they’ll stick to the anti-trump narrative, rather than reporting the latest *documented* facts.

Nearly 20 years ago, Vladimir Putin gained and solidified power by exploiting blackmail, fears of terrorism, and war. Since then, he has combined military adventurism and aggression abroad with propaganda and political repression at home, to persuade a domestic audience that he is restoring Russia to greatness and a respected position on the world stage. All the while, he has empowered the state security services and employed them to consolidate his hold on the levers of political, social, and economic power, which he has used to make himself and a circle of loyalists extraordinarily wealthy. …

Despite the clear assaults on our democracy and our allies in Europe, the U.S. government still does not have a coherent, comprehensive, and coordinated approach to the Kremlin’s malign influence operations, either abroad or at home. Although the U.S. government has for years had a patchwork of offices and programs supporting independent journalism, cyber security, and the countering of disinformation, the lack of presidential leadership in addressing the threat Putin poses has hampered a strong U.S. response. In early 2017, Congress provided the State Department’s Global Engagement Center the resources and mandate to address Kremlin disinformation campaigns, but operations have been stymied by the Department’s hiring freeze and unnecessarily long delays by its senior leadership in transferring authorized funds to the office. While many mid-level and some senior-level officials throughout the State Department and U.S. government are cognizant of the threat posed by Mr. Putin’s asymmetric arsenal, the U.S. President continues to deny that any such threat exists, creating a leadership vacuum in our own government and among our European partners and allies.
