Some of you might already be aware. But the Pegulas also own a record label, Black River Entertainment here in Nashville. One of their artists - Kelsea Ballerini is a Grammy nominee this year. The CEO of the company is from Fairport and is Kim Pegula's brother.

At any rate, someone to root for at this year's Grammys.

Best.

She lived in the apartment literally next door to my son in Nashville. Nice loft style place. You could hear her music from the hallway but not in the unit. Hung out at the pool and seemed very nice. Hoping she continues her trajectory!

Rooting for someone to win a Grammy because they're on a record label owned by a guy who also happens to own your favorite football team without being a fan of their music (I'm assuming) is a bit of a stretch. Just my opinion.

Well, if you saw her at the pool talking to your son (who happened to be with his fiancé), it's a no-brainier! :)

Actually, as long as the Bills stay in Buffalo, I'm cool with wishing the Pegula's well in most fields. I hope their daughter breaks out in tennis too! Maybe I'm just easy....

man, the real metzelaars was way more optimistic - you also assume a lot of things. And you know what that makes you? ;-)

Kelsea is one of the nicest people I've ever met. Also one of the cheeriest. Not that that's hard to find here in Nash. Her music is pretty cool and was one of the vanguard in the female revival in country music (ie. the tomato debate - look it up). We've done business with her management company who are also good people and a great hang.

If you can't root for people deserving of success, then what the hell? But you have yourself a nice day, Scrooge.

I know Gordon (Kim's brother). Very cool guy, talented musician himself.

She seems like an awesome person, makes great music and she is sexy as hell.

I'm rooting for her. Happy to see more women like her make it in country music. Ye haw!

They also purchased Shania twain's property in the St Regis falls area. Has a recording studio on the property. Hope the girl wins.

I'm guessing her voice is much better for the environment than one or two of Terry's other business ventures.

Idk I think a lot of people believe this type of pop music has polluted actual country music into extinction.
