DC Tom Posted February 10, 2017 Posted February 10, 2017 http://www.politico.com/story/2017/02/donald-trump-challenges-governing-presidency-234879 I'll say it again...he resigns by middle of next year, because he didn't realize the presidency is an actual job. Plus... Trump has privately expressed disbelief over the ability of judges, bureaucrats or lawmakers to delay — or even stop — him from filling positions and implementing policies. Checks and balances? What are those? Pretty much going as I expected, except more quickly.
Trump_is_Mentally_fit Posted February 10, 2017 Posted February 10, 2017 Can't wait to read a book from some of the people working for him now.
DC Tom Posted February 10, 2017 Author Posted February 10, 2017 Can't wait to read a book from some of the people working for him now. And in this case, you probably will be reading a coloring book. Y'know...given that these idiots can't even write a two-page executive order without !@#$ing it up.
KD in CA Posted February 10, 2017 Posted February 10, 2017 It'll be even funnier to think of it as Mike Pence beating Hillary.
B-Man Posted February 10, 2017 Posted February 10, 2017 And in this case, you probably will be reading a coloring book. Y'know...given that these idiots can't even write a two-page executive order without !@#$ing it up. Seeing how he acts Tom, he'll probably resign in the year and a half (as you predicted) and write his own "tell all" and it will be "Huuuuuuge"........lol

GG Posted February 10, 2017 Posted February 10, 2017 The US government is more challenging to run than ordering your three kids around? Color me shocked. At least he admits it.
Doc Posted February 10, 2017 Posted February 10, 2017 I think every President comes to the realization that he isn't going to be able to do all things he hoped/planned/dreamed of doing, for whatever reason.
snafu Posted February 10, 2017 Posted February 10, 2017 A big part of life is about having expectations managed.
Chef Jim Posted February 10, 2017 Posted February 10, 2017 A big part of life is about having expectations managed. And drinking.
Beef Jerky Posted February 11, 2017 Posted February 11, 2017 It'll be even funnier to think of it as Mike Pence beating Hillary. Putin was so afraid of Hilary he leaked a bunch of **** on her. Maybe she was the evil needed in this world. Either way this country is screwed no matter who is president.
TakeYouToTasker Posted February 11, 2017 Posted February 11, 2017 (edited) Putin was so afraid of Hilary he leaked a bunch of **** on her. Maybe she was the evil needed in this world. Either way this country is screwed no matter who is president. There has been no evidence provided that the Russians were involved. This is a narrative. You'd think that were this the case, evidence would be presented. It hasn't been. This was a leak from a DNC staffer who was promptly assasinated. Edited February 11, 2017 by TakeYouToTasker
B-Large Posted February 11, 2017 Posted February 11, 2017 http://www.politico.com/story/2017/02/donald-trump-challenges-governing-presidency-234879 I'll say it again...he resigns by middle of next year, because he didn't realize the presidency is an actual job. B-Large Posted February 11, 2017 Posted February 11, 2017 Yeah, the Fed is a big convoluted behemoth. So Mr. President, you're a successful business executive who has been given a golden opportunity. Pick two yuge issues and make them the cornerstone of your presidency. Priority one: Simplify the tax code, make it a no brainer to do business domestically. Priority 2: tell the truth about Medicare and SS, make a reasonable long term deal with Americans that ensure these programs endure for generations. Getting Tax Reform and Entitlement reform done will cure a lot of other ills. Yeah it's hard work, yeah congress and the judiciary is a pain in the ass, yes liberals are whiny babies- so stop tweeting like a retard, extend the olive branch to these groups and move the country forward.

Don't be stupid.

IDBillzFan Posted February 11, 2017 Posted February 11, 2017 And drinking. While competing in a midget toss competition. I don't see Trump resigning. But then, I never saw him winning, either, so pretty much anything is possible. It'd be damn funny, though. Worth noting: if he does quit, probably no one will be more excited for it than DC Tom. He'd be one of the very few Trump voters who got precisely what they were looking for with their vote.
