Marty McFly
Can't tackle and has no heart. I say no way to resigning him. That Blue Helmet in the avi is dope!!! The cant tackle **** pisses me off. Someone needs to teach Gilmore the fundamentals again. He doesnt tackle because he doesnt know how to tackle properly without getting injured. Thats how he got injured in 2015 season.
Bill from NYC
Keeping Gilmore is an important part of the progression of this team. I really hope a deal gets done. I couldn't disagree more. I am hoping the Panthers will give him a great offer and he goes home. No great loss, and we pick up a compensatory pick.
Marty McFly
Who knows. I'm not a Gillmore fan, but maybe Taylor reworks his deal into a team friendly deal and both players are retained. Thats the best case scenario. Either player walks we get worse at that position off the bat.
Kirby Jackson
I feel like this is the Bills lowball offer ($12m) and then they can say "we tried."

Not being able to rely on a corner to make tackels, or even try to slow up the receiver, is a nightmare for a coach. Can't win with it.

You're right. Winning teams don't keep their good players at key positions.

Do you think they'd drag him down there for that? I assume his agent would have said don't bother if the sides weren't kind of close.

So you want to create another hole, and draft a CB in the first couple rounds? That's the recipe that's been working for us real well.
FireChan
You're right. Winning teams don't keep their good players at key positions. Not to mention Gilly is already a sunk cost of a first rounder. Longitudinally, it makes it easier for me to justify paying him.

That, and he's bloody good. I will never understand why folks want really good players to leave.

BillsFan2313
Up and over the Gilly Lock https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=DGyLW0rbWuo That's awesome. This proves he "can't tackle"? That's like me showing this video and claiming "Best hitting corner in the NFL!!" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ooTqWokoHps Edited February 7, 2017 by Deceptikhans
CommonCents
That's awesome. This proves he "can't tackle"? "Can't tackle" A tree can tackle you if you run full speed into it. So I would say he "can" tackle.
Beef Jerky
That's awesome. This proves he "can't tackle"? Gilmore froze and then bent down.. it was the weirdest "try" to tackle I have ever seen. It was like he was afraid then stopped in his tracks and bent down to brace for impact. It was a horrible attempt at a tackle. He was basically a hurdle b.c he wasn't moving.
