4merper4mer Posted February 6, 2017 Posted February 6, 2017 At this point not only do I never want to watch another football game as long as I live, I never want to watch another baseball, basketball, or hockey game either. I'm sure my mind will change but that was brutal and just so wrong.
RyanC883 Posted February 6, 2017 Posted February 6, 2017 hahaha. i hear ya. Falcons screwed that game up so badly. Let's see. 2nd and 1. Let's run Coleman up the middle. Oh, that didn't work. Let's pass it. Fumble, Pats recover. WTF. Run Freeman both times. Jones catches it in FG range. Oh, let's pass it and get sacked. And then, lets pass it again so we can get a 10 yard holding penalty. Totally dysfunctional playcalling. Eat the clock, use Freeman, esp. when your defense has been on the field most of the game. And don't pass when in FG range.
PO16FFS Posted February 6, 2017 Posted February 6, 2017 Team up 28-3 in the second half...Please tell me which team had 2 timeouts at the end of Regulation and which team had 0?
GunnerBill Posted February 6, 2017 Posted February 6, 2017 Team up 28-3 in the second half...Please tell me which team had 2 timeouts at the end of Regulation and which team had 0? Atlanta couldn't have managed that game any worse.
4merper4mer Posted February 6, 2017 Author Posted February 6, 2017 After Jones' catch, three kneels and a FG wins the damn game.
Andrew Son Posted February 6, 2017 Posted February 6, 2017 I think wrestling is more legitimate at this point. There is no way that was real, unless the falcons coaches are brain damaged.
GunnerBill Posted February 6, 2017 Posted February 6, 2017 I think wrestling is more legitimate at this point. There is no way that was real, unless the falcons coaches are brain damaged. It's the latter.
Andrew Son Posted February 6, 2017 Posted February 6, 2017 After Jones' catch, three kneels and a FG wins the damn game. And why is Atlanta snapping the ball with double digit seconds on the play clock
Wayne Cubed Posted February 6, 2017 Posted February 6, 2017 And why is Atlanta snapping the ball with double digit seconds on the play clock That was ridiculous too. 14 seconds left on the play clock and they are snapping the ball.
Haslett_Stomp Posted February 6, 2017 Posted February 6, 2017 The bloom is definitely of Shanahan's rose after this fiasco. Good luck in SF.
Andrew Son Posted February 6, 2017 Posted February 6, 2017 How many yards per carry were they averaging? There is literally no coach in the WORLD that loses that game
GunnerBill Posted February 6, 2017 Posted February 6, 2017 There was ego in it. Shanahan was trying to show us how great he is. There is a reason it has taken a desperate team to hire him. He is an arrogant jerk and that has put other teams off for years. Well I hope he enjoys his new job. Cos he right royally screwed up today. How many yards per carry were they averaging? There is literally no coach in the WORLD that loses that game World.... meet Kyle Shanahan.
CommonCents Posted February 6, 2017 Posted February 6, 2017 You really think that Gunner? The most dramatic outcome had to be there for Brady and his 5th. That was predictable and sad
GunnerBill Posted February 6, 2017 Posted February 6, 2017 (edited) You really think that Gunner? The most dramatic outcome had to be there for Brady and his 5th. That was predictable and sadYes I really think that. This was idiocy and arrogance. Not conspiracy. It absolutely fits with the word out there about Shanahan. Edited February 6, 2017 by GunnerBill
CommonCents Posted February 6, 2017 Posted February 6, 2017 Yes I really think that. This was idiocy and arrogance. Not conspiracy. So idiocy and arrogance just happened to coincide with a dramatic patriots victory, just like two years ago with Pete's play calling ? Seems fishy at best, and obviously scripted. I have patriots fans texting me "follow the script" and LOL LMAO ... Come on now

Seems fishy at best, and obviously scripted. I have patriots fans texting me "follow the script" and LOL LMAO ... Come on now The one two years ago was 1 boneheaded call. This was a systematic pattern of idiocy from a very arrogant man. There was no conspiracy here.
Livinginthepast Posted February 6, 2017 Posted February 6, 2017 And why is Atlanta snapping the ball with double digit seconds on the play clock I noticed that too on a couple of plays!! WTF!! who is advising Ryan at that point!!!
TheFunPolice Posted February 6, 2017 Posted February 6, 2017 (edited) Notice New England always wants the smart players? Smart > dumb Matt Ryan was the league MVP?! Lol New England gas ruined football for me, at least for the foreseeable future. Rogers is the best QB in the league they say. Ryan is MVP. All these amazing young stars. Yet none of them get it done. It's Brady and New England then a bunch of guys who are all OK Edited February 6, 2017 by TheFunPolice
