Buffalo Barbarian Posted February 6, 2017 Posted February 6, 2017 Because you knew the devil rules the world at the moment. Look who's the president? LOL That proves God is in control
CommonCents Posted February 6, 2017 Posted February 6, 2017 The rigged argument apply? I haven't read all of the other posts and I apologize. The most dramatic and suspenseful outcome was ...well predictable. Wtf?
TheFunPolice Posted February 6, 2017 Posted February 6, 2017 It was predictable because, to put it bluntly, they are smart and cool and other teams are full of dumb jocks who can't keep their emotions under control and thus throw up all over themselves when the heat is on.
PromoTheRobot Posted February 6, 2017 Posted February 6, 2017 (edited) That proves God is in control Of the plagues and pestilence. Skip Bayless @RealSkipBayless Well, that's it. The Atlanta Falcons are Super Bowl champions Edited February 6, 2017 by PromoTheRobot
DriveFor1Outta5 Posted February 6, 2017 Posted February 6, 2017 Honestly, the Falcons don't really have too many fans. Yeah those two should be able to mourn together.
PromoTheRobot Posted February 6, 2017 Posted February 6, 2017 Yeah those two should be able to mourn together. Stadium was 80% Pats fans.
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted February 6, 2017 Posted February 6, 2017 We are upset that a team we can't stand won again, like they always do. Did you expect something else? Our team choking that away I would be out of work for a few days. I wouldn't be able to speak. Now, I am going to avoid any and all conversations about the game. Music in the car. Stay busy at work. It bothers you if you let it. They're the greatest of all time. So be it. They don't bother me. WE bother me.
Buffalo Barbarian Posted February 6, 2017 Posted February 6, 2017 Today is not the day to say stupid crap like that about yet another bad QB prospect you love. Today is the perfect day for it and you would still hate him if he did
Formerly Allan in MD Posted February 6, 2017 Posted February 6, 2017 Right, I usually don't care about announcers but I have heard some pretty no S#$!T calls by him. And Aikman never says anything insightful, game after game.
GunnerBill Posted February 6, 2017 Posted February 6, 2017 And Aikman never says anything insightful, game after game. He adds nothing to the broadcast.
Rocky Landing Posted February 6, 2017 Posted February 6, 2017 Mods, Can you just close this thread now, so we can start our long, long offseason?
Formerly Allan in MD Posted February 6, 2017 Posted February 6, 2017 Biggest choke in NFL history No, it was the Houston/Bills game when Reich torched them. Ball at 20 yard line. 2nd down, less than 4 minutes left. You run it twice and kick the 37 yard FG if you gain no yards. Matt Bryant, their kicker, was 19/20 from inside 40 yards this year. Any points win you the game there. Absolutely no need for a TD in that spot. Why anyone would line up in the shot gun and throw it is beyond me. Especially after the shotgun, empty back field 3rd and 1 fumble the previous drive. They just handed NE a gift. And they handed 49ers Shanahan, who went brain dead just like he did at times when he was the Redskins' OC.
JohnC Posted February 6, 2017 Posted February 6, 2017 Mods, Can you just close this thread now, so we can start our long, long offseason? Our offseason started almost a month ago. The same time it has started for the past generation. Need you be reminded?
PatsFanNH Posted February 6, 2017 Posted February 6, 2017 You got to admit that was one hell of a finish. I am a Pats fan and I never expected them to make such a comeback! I do believe our D played well(only gave up 21 points) and well Matty Ice gets lucky a lot I have seen a few passes just missed by Patriot defenders in this game that Julio made amazing grabs on (one he outmuscled Ryan for the ball.)

KD in CA Posted February 6, 2017 Posted February 6, 2017 No, it was the Houston/Bills game when Reich torched them. The Bills comeback was bigger, but it was mostly accomplished in the 3d quarter. As far as chokes go, this was much worse, both from a coaching and player perspective.
JohnC Posted February 6, 2017 Posted February 6, 2017 (edited) ...no...i guess not... I won't say get used to it because you and all of us have no choice. Congratulations. Great game and suspenseful game. The more poised team and coaching staff was the difference in this contest. Brady and Belichick are the best of the best.
