PatsFanNH Posted February 5, 2017 Posted February 5, 2017 How about Flutie saying he grabbed Brady's helmet once by accident and heard the OC talking to him during plays? I never heard that one, but seeing as the headset is turned off 12 seconds left. So duh he heard the Oc During plays.
MarkyMannn Posted February 5, 2017 Posted February 5, 2017 How about Flutie saying he grabbed Brady's helmet once by accident and heard the OC talking to him during plays? I 100% believe that goes on today even
Dr.Sack Posted February 5, 2017 Posted February 5, 2017 (edited) How about Flutie saying he grabbed Brady's helmet once by accident and heard the OC talking to him during plays? PTR and we all know Flutie has no axe to grind because he's originally a Boston College guy. Why taint the franchise? Heard Chris Mortenson or one the national best NFL reporters heard this in passing convo and Flutie retracted before it went on record. Where there's smoke there's fire. Also how does New England get basically a free pass for SpyGate which covered 2000-2007 and then with DeflateGate a much lesser offense they get destroyed? It's because Goodell did a makeup call for not coming down hard enough of SpyGate. Belichick should have been removed from football for one year like Sean Peyton but he cleverly threw Brady under the bus as y'all remember. And using Brady as the scapegoat allowed the CBA and union protections to delay any punishment for Brady. Would have been better if Goodell suspended Brady for a season like he did Sean Peyton. SF Bills Fan Posted February 5, 2017 Posted February 5, 2017 I doubt they would do it. If caught red handed cheating so blatantly at this point it would blow up so badly their legacy would be completely trashed with no hope of recovering.
BaaadThingsMan Posted February 5, 2017 Posted February 5, 2017 Just another coincidence, nothing to see here I doubt they would do it. Mr. WEO Posted February 5, 2017 Posted February 5, 2017 You don't read much do you? I read everything---even the crazy stuff.
Beef Jerky Posted February 5, 2017 Posted February 5, 2017 coincidence He just got a signed Brady ball...
Dr.Sack Posted February 5, 2017 Posted February 5, 2017 I read everything---even the crazy stuff. Pats apologist or Pats fan?

Mr. WEO Posted February 5, 2017 Posted February 5, 2017 Pats apologist or Pats fan? Your post was off the wall. Suspend a player whole year.....for what? What are you babbling about? The spy gate penalty (500K) against Bellichick was the biggest in league history at the time. The team lost a first round pick. That's not a free pass.
PromoTheRobot Posted February 5, 2017 Posted February 5, 2017 I never heard that one, but seeing as the headset is turned off 12 seconds left. So duh he heard the Oc During plays. You misunderstand. It never shut off. The OC could tell Brady who is open.
Mr. WEO Posted February 5, 2017 Posted February 5, 2017 (edited) You misunderstand. It never shut off. The OC could tell Brady who is open. Can't he just see who is open as easily (and quicker) as some guy way up in a booth using binoculars? Edited February 5, 2017 by Mr. WEO
GoBills808 Posted February 6, 2017 Posted February 6, 2017 This is classic conspiracy thinking. Confirmation Bias. The minute the Pats were pinched for Spygate, people are likely to remember anything untoward that happens that's associated with them, and simply forget it when it happens with other teams. For example, headset problems happen with every team and in every stadium, with a system controlled by the League. Only when the Patriots are involved does it become a story that people remember for precisely this reason. It happens in other games all the time but never becomes a story. it goes right down the memory hole, and/or the media ignores it because it's not the big, bad Patriots. Look at how Harbaugh reacted when he was faced with completely legal but unorthodox formations that he wasn't ready for. He lost his mind and wrongly complained that they were "deceptive" and 'illegal". No, he just got outsmarted and couldn't handle it, and he assumed he was being cheated when he wasn't. This is Patriots Derangement Syndrome 101. Shanahan loses track of his backpack (his fault), we know the media guy who took it by accident, but people somehow make that the Patriots fault too. Why isn't Shanahan simply a moron for losing track of something so important? it isn't the Patriots fault some reporter picked it up by accident. But something like that is guaranteed to attract the conspiracy weirdos like bees to honey. If the same thing happens but the Falcons are playing someone else, it's much less of a story, if it's one at all. The same thing used to happen with the Boston Celtics. Other teams complaining about dead spots in the parquet floor, or cold water in the visiting locker room showers, or many other hijinks that visiting teams were worried about. Red Auerbach wasn't doing anything like that, but he allowed opposing teams to believe it because they were psychologically beaten before even playing the Celtics. It was a huge psychological edge to have other teams waste time worrying about this phantom stuff and chasing wild gooses. tl;pats cheated
DC Tom Posted February 6, 2017 Posted February 6, 2017 It's completely coincidental the guy flying the drone has texts from Pats' assistant coaches calling him "the Droner." It's because he...uh...talks in a low, monotonous tone...yeah, that's it!
major Posted February 6, 2017 Author Posted February 6, 2017 Eric Mangini used to work for the pats and he is the one that exposed spygate to the league. Also, Josh mcdaniels was canned in Denver for doing this same crap. Guess where he works now- back with the pats. And when a legend like Don Shula calls BB a cheater I listen. Do your homework Faulk -- sore loser who still believes stories been proven false and retracted .. 0 % credibility. Mangini -- has said no such thing and actually. Even groveling get back in BB good graces for years! Tomlin (chef) -- has won Hines constantly since he can not ever seem to beat the Pats 0% cred Shula -- really? Meanwhile Jimmy Johnson, Ditka, along with slews of other former coaches have backed BB up.. but yes I'll Liston to the people have an ax to grind.
Saxum Posted February 6, 2017 Posted February 6, 2017 Pats apologist or Pats fan? Why does it have to be only one - he is both.
