Here we go again

@conororr

League source says NFL will look into Steelers not disclosing Bell's groin injury on previous reports. Story coming soon via @AroundTheNFL

They probably feel like they have to with the Rooneys being so close with Goodell and Sherman's comments saying the NFL was out to get them

Ha! I thought early in that game - when it was clear Bell was hurt - that the Steeler's excusing of Bell from practice for "personal reasons"last Thursday was the telltale sign. He clearly got hurt at practice. Still nothing about Robert Woods not showing up on injury reports last year or Shaq Lawson not showing up at the end of this season despite needing knee surgery!

Bills being investigated for initial describing Lawson as "day one starter".

never believed the NFL should have been involved in gambling ( which is what the medical list is) and now the influence on fantasy leagues (which is also gambling)

There is no other reason why this stuff is so important. Who cares if insiders would have gambling advantage.

Investigate the quacks first.

Don't have to. The medical staff just gave Whaley cover. Everyone is concerned with the possible shoulder issue and the need for surgery. Lawson says he's had the problem for years and doesn't need surgery before the season. Whaley says "he's been cleared."

Then Whaley adds "now if something happens, it happens".

Lo and behold, during a noncontact workout, "something" just happens to...."happen". Boom, he needs surgery!

The plan was always that he would need surgery before the season started.

It would be just another little lie Whaley would tell as part of being a "company" man. Just like (as we have been told over and over here) when he GUSHED about the Rex hiring, he was merely fibbing to appease the owners and support "their" selection (event thought the owner later claimed he was essentially sleeping through the process at that point). Or when asked if he knew Rex would be fired, or even if Rex was in trouble, Whalye lied again, because...."F the media/press!!"
