FireChan Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 I guess that's why they traded for Bradford. Teddy's career could be done. Shame. Such a young guy.
Kirby Jackson Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 That's terrible!! Teddy is a kid that's had a tough life. By all accounts he's a great kid too. I wish him the best.
YoloinOhio Posted January 27, 2017 Author Posted January 27, 2017 Apparently they think the injury needs a full 18 months to heal, which puts him at March 2018. I believe that he will be an FA, unless Minnesota picks up his 5th year option. Dicey ...
Webster Guy Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 Terrible news. What a bummer for the kid and the Minny fans.
Blokestradamus Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 From the moment it happened, my expectation was that it would likely be career-ending. He was always likely to miss 2017, even just as a precautionary measure. If he takes the field again, it'll be a happy day. Just not filled with confidence that it ever happens.
Alphadawg7 Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 (edited) Per Jason Cole http://www.1500espn.com/vikings-2/2017/01/report-bridgewater-likely-miss-entire-2017-season/ That sucks Man, this isnt the first time Minny had to deal with this...reminds me of Daunte Culpepper there. While he did eventually come back, he was no where near the player he was prior and had that injury plague him rest of his limited career. Hopefully Bridgewater isnt done, but this obviously looks like a very uphill battle to just get back, let alone keep getting better as QB. Its not like he was at the peak of his development yet before the injury. So not only does he have to figure out how to get back on the field, he still has to work hard to be a good QB. Bummer Edited January 27, 2017 by Alphadawg7
NoSaint Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 for all they are mentioned during contract negotiations and such its incredibly rare that you see the career ending injuries, but looking like it could be one

Yes, made me think of Lattimore
switz1610 Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 I trade our last pick for him. Let him rehab, learn the offense and see what happens in a few years. Many posters on here have compared his and Tyrod's game.
PatsFanNH Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 That sucks I hope he comes back as he had the mackkngs of being a good NFL starter and potentially a Franchise QB.
iinii Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 Wow! Didn't they say originally players who saw it puked and/or he was in jeopardy of losing the leg?
PromoTheRobot Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 (edited) So does this make him a bust? Edited January 27, 2017 by PromoTheRobot

Many posters on here have compared his and Tyrod's game. Their games are totally different. It's the dreaded black QB compared to black QB (not your fault)!!
PatsFanNH Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 So does make him a bust? IMO No. the injury is not his fault and he showed every sign of being a good NFL QB. This just makes him one bad luck person.
