With all the dysfunction talk, I read a couple interesting articles. Remember when the god Polian was ripping us? We will have a hard time getting a coach? No one wants to work with Whaley? Now he is praising the McDermott hire and won't have an issue working with Whaley. Anthony Lynn says he loved the ownership and think the Bills were the quickest turnaround. For all the dysfunction, there is a little praise going on.

Lynn seems like a real class act. He was very direct and realistic in that article. I hope he does well. It is too bad that there are so many strange factors with the Chargers these days. That can't possibly help but I'd like to see them do well with Lynn.

The perception of dysfunction at One Bills Drive was created by the media. The real issue was the team was not good enough again to make the playoffs. Rex Ryan was held accountable. DW owns the 53. Hold him accountable too. Is that a playoff roster? No. At least with the new Coach, there's nobody left to blame.

Apparently Whaley and the team were serious about fixing the problem because since coach Sean McDermott was hired there’s been a noticeable lack of information leaking ahead of official statements made by the team. For example, there was very little advanced notice by any media outlet when offensive coordinator Rick Dennison was hired on Jan 19.

Dennison’s hire was not reported by anyone in the media more than a couple hours in advance of the official team statement, and LaCanfora even got the hire completely wrong.

Does Lacanfora get anything right?

That's so last week.

Anyone know who the agents are for these new hires? Both Rex & St. Doug were Jimmy Sexton and it wouldn't surprise me if Sexton was the main source of leaks. Just sayin'........

A few weeks ago, I commented in one of the Whaley threads that the day after Polian condemned the Bills for being such a mess and that any prospective coach would have to think twice before jumping in, he recommended his "good friend" Frank Reich for the job. It's easier to parse Polian when you consider he has to dismiss his intellectual honesty while sitting on the ESPN panel, stick his finger in the air to determine which way the wind is blowing, and then comment accordingly.
