Jauronimo Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 I want to read his follow up after Atlanta wins.
Marty McFly Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 I want to read his follow up after Atlanta wins. This. Here. That was so !@#$ing smug brehs. SouthPark could make an ep on how smug that article is.
Wayne Arnold Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 http://www.bostonglobe.com/sports/patriots/2017/01/23/hard-get-pumped-about-super-bowl-against-atlanta/0t7MbsUBBpbzJpVvTZlzxM/story.html Wow. Would love a filthy beat down by the dirty birds to begin the end of this era. Patriots fans hate that writer.
CommonCents Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 Patriots fans hate that writer. I was just going to say, that is their Jerry Sullivan. Weird article, almost looks like he is putting the jinx on.
quinnearlysghost88 Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 This isn't new. I lived in Boston in 2011, and guys were leaving work on the Friday before the SB and talking about plans like it was week 5. No enthusiasm. Just yeah i'll probably just catch it at home or the bar.
4merper4mer Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 They are so ridiculous trying to make like the Pats are put upon by Goodell. TRY NOT CHEATING THEN.

Hmm I wish that was the case. This is the time of year even the mothers and grandmothers are rocking their Tom Brady jerseys. Go to a grocery store on a Sunday and it's like your waking around Patriots Place. Find the one other random fan walking around and take joy in the fact that you both just hope the Pats blow it! Usually it's a steelers fan, on rare occasion we find other Bills fans and that usually results in hand shakes and talks of better days.
rant_and_go Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 NFL ratings are down. Perhaps Atlanta is head of the curve, for ignoring drug addicted spoiled millionaires, and the billionaire monsters who rip off and ruin entire cities.

KD in CA Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 Patriots fans hate that writer. Shaughnessy is the resident contrarian/pot stirrer in Boston. He's been doing that act since I was in college. He loves trolling the natives.

Mr. WEO Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 NFL ratings are down. Perhaps Atlanta is head of the curve, for ignoring drug addicted spoiled millionaires, and the billionaire monsters who rip off and ruin entire cities. How is Atlanta ahead of that curve?
H2o Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 Pats*** fans, as well as writer fans apparently, are the most obnoxious f*ckboy types of people you will ever meet. They have never done anything wrong, Goodell is out to get them, the refs are out to get them (despite the bullsh*t calls CONSTANTLY going in their favor ala the Brady fumble on Sunday night), and despite all of this injustice they prevail against "all evil". I hope and pray that not only do they lose, but that it is in epic proportion with the Falcons hanging 40 to 50+ on them while they can't muster anymore than 10-20. I hope someone rubs their arms down in butter and they fumble 5+ times. I hope Matt Ryan breaks Steve Young's SB record for TD's. And I hope this retaaahhhhd is crying on his keyboard writing a summary about the game.
Talley56 Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 Sounds like he's describing the fan support the Patriots were getting before the Brady/Belichick era.
K D Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 If Seattle runs it in then Pats haven't won a super bowl since 2005.
PatsFanNH Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 Ugh I didn't bother reading once I saw who wrote the article Shaunessey makes a living on being an @$$ hat! He is the Globe equivalent to collinsworth who said "if Brady loses to Atlanta BB will trade him" crap.
Jerry Jabber Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 (edited) I hope when Brady retires, so does Belichek and all these Mazzholes are brought back to earth when the Cheatriots aren't winning the division every year and are back to where they were pre-Brady. Edited January 24, 2017 by Jerry Jabber
iinii Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 All that Atlanta hate gonna be some cold humble pie if they win! Could be like the year the Pats beat the Lambs.
Just in Atlanta Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 As an Atlantan, he's right. The majority of the city is not excited.
