K D Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 I saw an interesting stat that Purdue of all places has had a former player on a super bowl team for the past 18 years! I haven't heard about Purdue since the days of Brees and Orton
GunnerBill Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 Not to mention Kyle Shanahan was the Browns OC 2 years ago before they allowed him to leave while still under contract. Now he's one of the hottest coordinators (soon to be head coaches) in the game. The Browns of 2014 weren't that far off, that was a true turning point for the franchise (and for the Raiders franchise). It was a loaded draft and somehow the Browns managed to take the two worst picks of the first round, not to mention following it up for a pretty awful 2015 draft as well. The Browns spent 3 years analysing and assessing Quarterbacks as well and their advanced analytics told them to select Bridgewater. Their owner preferred Manziel. Now you can talk about whether the model should have said Carr but Bridgewater would have given the Browns at worst a legitimate starter. Manziel was a huge bust.
BaaadThingsMan Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 I think you mean Dion Lewis..... but you are correct a former Brown. There is also Belichick and of course Kyle Shanahan on the sidelines. derr, yeah that guy thanks
atlbillsfan1975 Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 Falcons are Alex Mack, Taylor Gabriel, and on the Pats* Jabaal Sheard, Dion Lewis, Barkevious Mingo. On a side note Cleveland also traded away their draft slot with the Falcons and they moved up and grabbed Julio Jones a couple years ago. Boy they botched that one How did i forget Mack. he is probably one of the main reasons for the Falcons resurgence.
CDogg20 Posted January 25, 2017 Posted January 25, 2017 How did i forget Mack. he is probably one of the main reasons for the Falcons resurgence. Yeah he really solidified that line in a big way. It was a signing that really flew under the radar
