Buffalo_Stampede Posted January 23, 2017 Posted January 23, 2017 What a joke probowls on your resume is now. You could be the 10th best player at your position, but still get in due to drop outs, injuries, and super bowl players being unavailable. How do you really take pride in it anymore? Being 10th at your position is something to be proud of be not settle for. Gilmore is well deserving of a pro bowl, maybe not this year but other years.
BillsGuru4 Posted January 23, 2017 Posted January 23, 2017 All 3 of our players that made the pro bowl today hurts us. They can ask for more money just because the better players cant play in it for one reason or another. They need to banish the pro bowl and just have players and coaches vote on all pro.
Bills in Heaven? Posted January 23, 2017 Posted January 23, 2017 This just goes to show the Patriots genius... by playing in the Superbowl every year, players from other AFC teams move into their players Pro Bowl spots, forcing opposing teams to pay their players more. Genius!
Boatdrinks Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 Players around the league always stuff the ballot for guys in a contract year. Benefits all of them. SG fell woefully short of what one would think a pro-bowl type season should look like.
KD in CA Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 tag-a-licious Ugh. I feel a season long turf toe issue coming up.

Augie Posted January 25, 2017 Posted January 25, 2017 Ugh. I feel a season long turf toe issue coming up. Don't be so sure of yourself! (It could be a groin, or a hammy?) Apparently only the last games count, not the first half of the season.

3rdand12 Posted January 25, 2017 Posted January 25, 2017 Ugh. I feel a season long turf toe issue coming up. plantar fasciitis most likely. Known to be contagious in contract years
thebandit27 Posted January 25, 2017 Posted January 25, 2017 If you discount the fact that Ryan Fitzpatrick owned him, he's a great player. :-) He's clearly better than that scrub Richard Sherman, who can't even cover Robert Woods! I mean, what kind of bum lets the Ryan Fitzpatrick-Stevie Johnson combo beat them for a TD? http://m.49ers.com/video/videos/Stevie-Johnson-Beats-Richard-Sherman-for-TD/68837982-c01b-43d0-b29f-bb5bf0ae9856
Bad Things Posted January 25, 2017 Posted January 25, 2017 Good, this should only help increase his trade value.
Augie Posted January 25, 2017 Posted January 25, 2017 Good, this should only help increase his trade value. It would help if he were under contract. Franchise tag makes it tougher, but still something. Pro Bowl is a joke, so I doubt it matters much to professional football people.
