26CornerBlitz Posted January 21, 2017 Posted January 21, 2017 @AdamSchefter Gus Bradley was big defensive coordinator domino multiple teams were waiting on. Now that he's a Charger, other teams will move quick.
CanadianFan Posted January 21, 2017 Posted January 21, 2017 Playoffs for Chargers says this. They had better personnel to get to playoffs than 2016 version of Bills. I honestly think expectations were just too friggin high here. Including Saint Kelly's. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000773378/article/los-angeles-chargers-are-playoff-contender-in-2017
THE GUY YELLING BEHIND YOU Posted January 21, 2017 Posted January 21, 2017 He was holding out for Cable in SF. When that didn't happen and they gave him more money, then he signed. Still slightly happier with what we got all around.
Marty McFly Posted January 21, 2017 Posted January 21, 2017 A.Lynn has brought together a good coaching staff. I wouldnt be surprised to see a big improvement from them next year, as long as Rivers stays on.
Hapless Bills Fan Posted January 21, 2017 Posted January 21, 2017 (edited) Truth to the Lynn/Bradley ticket. Just not here. Lynn has put together a good staff. I wish him the best. I'm not sure it would have been a mistake to keep him, but I think we have a good staff too. I'm happier with our hires, actually, but I'm not sure whether that's because I should be (objectively) or because like all fans after a disappointing season I want CHANGE! and because I'm impressed by the number of super bowl appearances in our coaches' backgrounds. Big C Posted January 21, 2017 Posted January 21, 2017 Just not here. Well, only because we didn't choose Lynn.
Green Lightning Posted January 21, 2017 Posted January 21, 2017 I liked the idea of Lynn and Bradley here. We'll see.
Doc Posted January 21, 2017 Posted January 21, 2017 Who is their OC? Will Lynn be it? If so, glad we moved on. Wasn't a big fan of his.

I like Lynn and think Bradley is a nice defensive coordinator for him, but it rarely works out well for the interim coach getting promoted to head coach.
Marty McFly Posted January 21, 2017 Posted January 21, 2017 (edited) Adam Gase and the Wild Card Miami Dolphins say hello.Edit: I read Coordinator vs interim coach. Carry on 2020 I like Lynn and think Bradley is a nice defensive coordinator for him, but it rarely works out well for the interim coach getting promoted to head coach. GunnerBill Posted January 21, 2017 Posted January 21, 2017 Who is their OC? Will Lynn be it? If so, glad we moved on. Wasn't a big fan of his. I hears they might keep Whiz.
uticaclub Posted January 21, 2017 Posted January 21, 2017 Well, only because we didn't choose Lynn. Did we not choose Lynn or did Lynn not choose us?
BobbyC81 Posted January 21, 2017 Posted January 21, 2017 Did we not choose Lynn or did Lynn not choose us? Yes!

Doc Posted January 21, 2017 Posted January 21, 2017 OK, not bad. But I can't recall a guy going from a position coach, to OC, to HC in the span of 5 months before.
eball Posted January 21, 2017 Posted January 21, 2017 I would have been ok with Lynn staying in Buffalo, but another part of me is glad the Bills are removing all of the Rex "stink" from the staff (sans Crossman, but he was a Marrone hire anyway). I wish Lynn good luck in San Diego Los Angeles, aside from our meeting there next fall.
The Big Cat Posted January 21, 2017 Posted January 21, 2017 The Bradley love is baffling. I'm glad he's not our D.C.
YoloinOhio Posted January 21, 2017 Posted January 21, 2017 The Bradley love is baffling. I'm glad he's not our D.C.the idea of a Gus D is probably better than an actual Gus D
