The Big Cat Posted January 19, 2017 Posted January 19, 2017 So Whaley still around and the leaks have all been plugged. Methinks they weren't coming from his camp, but rather from the guys who showed up late and left early.
Kelly the Dog Posted January 19, 2017 Posted January 19, 2017 Lot of experience. Uninspiring hire, for me. I am glad we got a guy who has done the job though. If you gave me ten choices he would probably be near the bottom though.
sodbuster Posted January 19, 2017 Posted January 19, 2017 I kind of ignored him as a possible hire because I really didn't think he was available. Good stuff.
Peter Posted January 19, 2017 Posted January 19, 2017 Won a Super Bowl last year. He did, but he was not the defensive coordinator.
Jerry Jabber Posted January 19, 2017 Posted January 19, 2017 Just read a couple of tweets from the Denver media, they think the Bills made a mistake as Broncos fans are happy to see him go.
BuffaloHokie13 Posted January 19, 2017 Posted January 19, 2017 Definitely looks like a Kubiak student
Peter Posted January 19, 2017 Posted January 19, 2017 Tyrod is staying This is a very interesting take. It certainly increases the chance that TT will be the Bills QB next year.
PirateHookerMD Posted January 19, 2017 Posted January 19, 2017 http://www.denverpost.com/2016/08/27/rick-dennison-helped-to-engineer-broncos-history-future/
racecitybills Posted January 19, 2017 Posted January 19, 2017 So the media insiders knew nothing about this one. Knew nothing about the Dorsey interview. Could we have sealed some loose lips at OBD?
FireChan Posted January 19, 2017 Posted January 19, 2017 I LOVE this hire. Years of success with guys like Schaub and Cutler. Emphasizes a strong running game. Absolutely excstatic.
mikemac2001 Posted January 19, 2017 Posted January 19, 2017 This is a very interesting take. It certainly increases the chance that TT will be the Bills QB next year. Qb coach in Baltimore with tyrod as well
GunnerBill Posted January 19, 2017 Posted January 19, 2017 (edited) Really good choice. Both these coordinators are the kind of unflashy grinders I imagine McDermott wants to be around. EDIT: I also think it likely means good news for Tyrod. Edited January 19, 2017 by GunnerBill
Kelly the Dog Posted January 19, 2017 Posted January 19, 2017 If he lobbies to keep Tyrod I'm all for him though. Considering the alternatives.
Billschinatown Posted January 19, 2017 Posted January 19, 2017 So Whaley still around and the leaks have all been plugged. Methinks they weren't coming from his camp, but rather from the guys who showed up late and left early. Very very interesting how quiet it has been
BADOLBILZ Posted January 19, 2017 Posted January 19, 2017 Tyrod is staying Yeah Ryan L doesn't approve this hire.
klos63 Posted January 19, 2017 Posted January 19, 2017 So the media insiders knew nothing about this one. Knew nothing about the Dorsey interview. Could we have sealed some loose lips at OBD? insiders have been pretty much wrong about everything it seems.
ndirish1978 Posted January 19, 2017 Posted January 19, 2017 So Whaley still around and the leaks have all been plugged. Methinks they weren't coming from his camp, but rather from the guys who showed up late and left early. Pretty much. There has been zero news coming in or out throughout the search. LaCanfora confirmed his incompetence by speculating on AVO, probably while Dennison was sitting down in the building to sign his contract. I LOVE this hire. Years of success with guys like Schaub and Cutler. Emphasizes a strong running game. Absolutely excstatic. I think I need to lay down. I can't remember ever seeing you happy?!
The Big Cat Posted January 19, 2017 Posted January 19, 2017 Very very interesting how quiet it has been None of these hires have been prompted with rumors, only announced as finalized. VERY interesting indeed.
