boyst Posted January 19, 2017 Posted January 19, 2017 if it is any good and worth anything it is next to pointless to use in the nfl. until you can press this out to colleges, high schools, middle schools and peewee it won't have much of an impact. if schutt was a respectable company they'd give them out for free to help with safety. FREE HAT!
PromoTheRobot Posted January 19, 2017 Posted January 19, 2017 The NFL probably decides what equipment can be used, not individual teams.

The Bills used to have a player with a double cab helmet. Interesting article and design. The quick release face mask is also really interesting. Good to get the face mask out of the way without having to move the players head/neck.

Saxum Posted January 21, 2017 Author Posted January 21, 2017 Hence reason why I think Bills marketing should look for a new logo custom designed for helmet to make a splash. I am not an artist by I can see a lot of potential for making it look different so it fits the helmet but still look okay on the mini-helmets sold to fans.
Thrivefourfive Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 Maybe the reason why this helmet is needed is the real problem...?
Beef Jerky Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 Maybe the reason why this helmet is needed is the real problem...? More horsepower?
ExiledInIllinois Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 "The Schutt F7 (left) may present a challenge for traditional helmet logo positioning." Paul Lukas And therein lies the ultimate problem. That's sad. Looks defining function. Original helmets didn't have logos. FWIW, leather helmets actually proved better impact protection than modern plastic helmets... Really, outside the other drawbacks, like being facially maimed, leather may be better against concussion: http://www.smithsonianmag.com/science-nature/are-modern-football-helmets-any-safer-than-old-school-leather-ones-52942951/
