Sorry, I’m an independent. I can laugh at both sides.

And we can laugh at the concept that you're an independent.

Great stuff. Keep it coming.

Ever notice that the people who claim they are "Independent" almost always turn out to be leftists?

Ever notice how all these people that say they are not Trump supporters defend anything he does and end up repeating his lies?

"Trump colluded with the Russians."

"You're a halfwit."

"Stop defending Trump!"

"I'm not defending Trump, I'm calling you a halfwit."

I'm a registered independent, too.  It hasn't stopped anyone from calling me a Trump supporter.

Just deal with it.

Tom may not be a registered member but I think at some point he may have been their nominee

Thought this was an interesting chart, and will give our progressives one guess which items have the greatest hand of government in fixing prices?

Now tell me again how socialism works for the benefit of the common man?

I haven't done a full accounting on the numbers (and knowing Ritholz's bias), but directionally they are correct.  http://ritholtz.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/pricechanges.png.

Yesterday President Trump invited the media to keep their cameras on during a round-table discussion on trade.  He did this for a reason.  President Trump wanted the American voters to watch Republican politicians demand that he stop trying to bring manufacturing jobs to the United States.

In essence, Trump doing what Trump does best, played the role of Toto and pulled back the curtain on the Republican anti-American corporate business agenda.  The republicans in attendance never paused to reflect upon the sunlight or the reason for their specific invitations. They are comfortable back-room deals and POTUS Toto relaxed them perfectly.

Hahaha...funny stuff. The difference is the things that can be outsourced and manufactured in China vs what can't.  The one exception is the monopolistic textbook market. I stopped requiring new books about 10 years ago and have students buy used copies from Amazon for $10...

FWIW, who do you think knows more about manufacturing, the guy from a state whose voters are the ones who are directly affected by off-shoring, or the guy who has his ties made in China and was using foreign labor in his Florida resorts?

Which means what, exactly? That you can fill out a piece of paper?

Suggesting you're not a liberal because you're a registered independent is like suggesting you never go to a grocery store because you have a Costco membership.

Maybe tomorrow you can tell us how much of a man you are because you slept with three different women last week.
