Do you intentionally post this stuff knowing how silly it makes you seem?

The economy hasn't changed one one thousandth of one basis point since last Thursday.

We are still on about a 3+ GDP growth rate.

The market does what the market does.

Attempting to use it's short term movements as political ammunition is the sign of a goof

Does this apply to a certain Twitterer in Chief too?

So much for the theory that tariffs don't work.

Free trade is a lie when our nation is the only one that adheres to it.

The Associated Press:

The Commerce Department reported Tuesday that the U.S. trade deficit in goods and services rose 12 percent to $566 billion last year, biggest since 2008. A record $2.9 trillion in imports swamped $2.3 trillion in exports last year.

The deficit in the goods trade with China — frequently accused of unfair trading practices by the White House — hit a record $375.2 billion in 2017. The goods gap with Mexico climbed to $71.1 billion.

How much credit will he claim when it rebounds?

In a futures market they buy and sell based on what they think will happen.

Same as all markets.

So all this screaming about deficits and debt while Obama was president was just playing politics with our government and the economy?

It ain't right.  Ryan, McC and Trump have to address spending.   Both parties continue to be irresponsible.
