Last week a customer came into the office, someone I know to some degree.  He's African American.  I greeted him and asked him "how are you"?  He responded "tall and black".  He recognized that for a brief moment I wasn't sure how to respond so he started to laugh.  Good moment.

The correct response is "Just how I like my coffee."

Well...if he likes his coffee tall and black, then he wouldn't drink espresso now, would he?  :wallbash:

I am not certain if you are really asking, but just in case you are - it usually means you did something very successfully, and someone admires you for it. So, combined with the eye-roll, I said it as sarcasm.

And, I guess you now know what happened down here that translated to the leakage up in OTW.  *heavy sigh*

No  I'm just busting chops.

Has anyone asked the Farmers how this booming economy is helping them?

The Post reports: “The Federal Reserve is becoming more worried about the U.S. economy, citing slower consumer and business spending. On Wednesday, the central bank cut its growth forecasts, left interest rates unchanged and indicated it won’t do any hikes this year.” In practical terms, what does this mean? “The Fed entered 2019 predicting the economy would grow 2.3 percent and two more rate hikes would be necessary to keep the economy from overheating. On Wednesday, the Fed cut its growth forecast to 2.1 percent, and the vast majority of Fed leaders now predict no interest rate increases this year.”

If by this you mean getting it from Rahm Emmanuel in a gay bathhouse in Chicago while marrying a transvestite and faking two kids then, yeah.

Nope, Obama is just a way better person, President and leader than Trump will ever be

Out of curiosity, who did he lead to where? In fact, what did he ever do that one would consider was a success?

He won a Nobel Peace Price. They don't just give those things out for doing nothing.

Getting health insurance for 30 million people is a success. Look at your doofus Trump now, railing at a dead senator because he was the deciding vote from destroying health insurance for those people. And then lying about it, too. His filthy tweet actually claimed it was repeal and "replace" which is a lie.

That alone slowed the rise of the oceans. I'm still trying to figure out how $1500 a month premiums and $6000 deductibles are a good thing?

Years ago I was in the locker room with one of my cooks after our shift.  We were talking about how the British use different words for different foods.  Went like this.  Oh sorry he's black.

Chef Jim:  The British call foods different names there. Like fries are chips.  Potato chips are crisps.  They have a different name for crackers and I don't remember what it is

Cook:  White people??  [The look on his face was oh *****!  I think I just offended my boss!]

Chef Jim: Now that's one of the funniest things I've heard in a long time.

Oh and BTW for a little trivia they call crackers biscuits.

Sure. You are in the 1% of Americans with the lowest of IQ's. You could improve that standing by simply moving to Canada.
