B-Man
What did you expect ? You see, because John Lewis was attacked by democrats sixty years ago, that means he can make false statements about Republicans today that cannot be questioned. Perfect Liberal logic............... You don't seem to know history, that southern Democrats switched to the Republican party after LBJ signed the Civil Rights Act. But keep pushing the false narrative. keepthefaith
And then Trump turns into super Lberal and says his health care plan will cover everyone! Go Lewis!! Still making a difference after all these years! We'll have to wait and see what's in the newly proposed health care law. As for Lewis, he really cheapened himself with his comments. It's utterly ridiculous to think that the exposure of some of Podesta's emails in itself caused a large number of voters in swing states to vote Trump rather than Hillary. What makes it ridiculous is that all of Hillary's baggage had been out there for months already not to mention her poor policy positions and weak campaigning. What Lewis has also done is say to many people that voted for Donald that they were too dumb and took the wikileaks bait and didn't vote for Hillary. That they were fooled and made a mistake. How many Trump voters do you think actually feel that way? About none. Talk to some. Only in the minds of much of the media and those on the left who are still in denial is there any support for what Lewis and others have said. PastaJoe
The Trump impulse for ironic statements flows down party. A county commissioner in Georgia accused Rep. John Lewis (D-Ga.) of being "a racist pig" over the weekend after the congressman criticized President-elect Donald Trump. Tommy Hunter, a Republican on the Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners, wrote two Facebook posts about Lewis and "Demonrats" on Saturday and Sunday, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported. Both appeared to have been deleted as of Monday morning. "John Lewis is a racist pig", Hunter wrote on Saturday, according to a screenshot posted by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. "There aint one political pundit that didnt say on November 9 that this would be Demonrats EXACT response to Trump winning. Like I heard Rush, I believe say, Demonrats DO NOT live in reality. They believe polls were right and THE REAL VOTES were wrong. B-Man
Are America’s reporters and editors our most inept occupational group? They are an obvious candidate for the honor. How many reporters had any idea that Americans were so unhappy with the Washington status quo that Donald Trump would be our next president? Approximately zero. Political reporters are part of the Washington, D.C. swamp, and they didn’t notice anything wrong with the water they were swimming in until it was–from their point of view–too late. How many reporters and editors woke up on November 9, stunned to find that Donald Trump was our president-elect? Pretty much all of them. And yet the signs had been building for years, taken seriously by many but not, with very few exceptions, by our reportorial “elite Click on to enlarge Edited January 17, 2017 by B-Man
B-Man
Trump wins again..................Rep. John Lewis has been forced to admit that Donald Trump’s inauguration on Friday will not be the first inauguration of a president he’s missed, contrary to what he told Chuck Todd on “Meet The Press” on Sunday: Rep. John Lewis' office issues statement acknowledging he also missed Bush 43's first inauguration. http://fxn.ws/2jtlEyF
