Nitro Posted January 16, 2017 Posted January 16, 2017 Is it just me, or does every playoff team have a really good kicker? Hmmm. Astute observation
bobobonators Posted January 16, 2017 Posted January 16, 2017 has a kicker missed a FG today? between both games, must be some sort of record for FG's in divisional round.
Nitro Posted January 16, 2017 Posted January 16, 2017 7 times inside the red zone....6 FGs and 1 INT. If they lose, Tomlin will have explain that failure.
Augie Posted January 16, 2017 Posted January 16, 2017 I think we have a new record, many games have seen 5 made FG's, but this is new territory. Am I missing something? No mention of this? I find it.....odd and unique.
DriveFor1Outta5 Posted January 16, 2017 Posted January 16, 2017 (edited) Alex Smith sucks. Yes he does. All the Chiefs really need is for him to make one big play, and he can't seem do it. He's like a better version of captain checkdown. Edited January 16, 2017 by DriveFor1Outta5
bobobonators Posted January 16, 2017 Posted January 16, 2017 all of a sudden Chiefs airing it out. about time Alex Smith tried to be Aaron Rodgers, and then realized he wasn't
DriveFor1Outta5 Posted January 16, 2017 Posted January 16, 2017 You have to give Reid credit for not punting like every other NFL coach would in that spot.
Nitro Posted January 16, 2017 Posted January 16, 2017 Pittsburgh defense is giving up some big plays. Looking worn out.
mannc Posted January 16, 2017 Posted January 16, 2017 It would be interesting to know the point differential over the course of a season between having Dan Carpenter as your kicker vs Dan Bailey. I'm guessing it would be a shockingly large number--and not just from all the missed FGs and extra points.
bobobonators Posted January 16, 2017 Posted January 16, 2017 You have to give Reid credit for not punting like every other NFL coach would in that spot. Rex would've punted, for sure. "My defense will get us the ball back"
Augie Posted January 16, 2017 Posted January 16, 2017 You have to give Reid credit for not punting like every other NFL coach would in that spot. Every? Well, I know of at least one ex-coach who would have for sure! But he was fully pregnant, which may have clouded his decision making.
Nitro Posted January 16, 2017 Posted January 16, 2017 Harrison is gassed....Father time is tugging at his sleeve.
bobobonators Posted January 16, 2017 Posted January 16, 2017 Harrison is gassed....Father time is tugging at his sleeve. hgh has a half-life.
Nitro Posted January 16, 2017 Posted January 16, 2017 Stupid play. You could have hit him without a head shot. Selfish play.
Augie Posted January 16, 2017 Posted January 16, 2017 That should have been caught, and it looked like football at full speed. But you can't do that anymore I guess. He seemed to be trying to dip and use his shoulder.
jeffismagic Posted January 16, 2017 Posted January 16, 2017 Steelers are dirty cheap shot artists. I hope they do this on the Pats.
BaaadThingsMan Posted January 16, 2017 Posted January 16, 2017 Steelers are dirty cheap shot artists. I hope they do this on the Pats.they will
sullim4 Posted January 16, 2017 Posted January 16, 2017 It's been said before, but I think the game would be safer if they removed helmets from the game, except for maybe the quarterback. Players wouldn't launch themselves like that if they didn't have helmets.
