2020 Our Year For Sure Posted January 15, 2017 Posted January 15, 2017 Whew Kromer did a good job coaching OL. We'll be fortunate if our OL continues this well coached. I did not want to see him as OC
RyanTalbotBills Posted January 15, 2017 Posted January 15, 2017 Thanks for sharing the article. Kromer did a nice job in Buffalo, but I think McDermott wants to bring in an OC that he knows with experience. A few coaches still in the playoffs come to mind. Kromer may land on his feet with the Rams. He's supposedly a candidate for their OC job.
RyanC883 Posted January 15, 2017 Posted January 15, 2017 (edited) Why did we let Kromer go? Was he unhappy at the prospect of not being considered for OC. Perhaps he has an OC interview lined up? As Ryan TalbotBills mentions above, he could be a good fit w/ the Rams. Do we have a new OL coach? Edited January 15, 2017 by RyanC883
Augie Posted January 15, 2017 Posted January 15, 2017 What about Ed Reed? I think he's going to carry donuts to Rex on a TV set somewhere. Asst Nutrition Coordinator is the title I believe.

We have a new OL coach/run game coordinator Which are the two titles he's held in his career outside OC. I wouldn't lose sleep over him not being our OC but he's excellent coaching the trenches and Castillo will have a hard time filling those shoes. He might though.

iinii Posted January 15, 2017 Posted January 15, 2017 Rex could only coach a team that drafted high IQ football players. He did well with Mangini (Belichick disciple) players. Rex would actually be a great D coordinator under Belichick if Patricia left. Of course BB would never do that but it would work. You arguments are contradictory. No way Belichick hires a Ryan so how could it ever work?
Utah John Posted January 15, 2017 Posted January 15, 2017 Sad to see Kromer sacked. He had Glenn, Incognito, and Wood all working together, and Miller and whoever on the right side making progress. Sometimes these changes are a big step backward. Wrecks got rid of Donnie Henderson, Mike Mularkey got rid of the best strength and conditioning coach the Bills ever had, Rusty Jones. I hope the new guy does as well as Kromer.

Marty McFly Posted January 15, 2017 Posted January 15, 2017 (edited) Good luck to them Agree. Kromer: You did a great job! Before you came to buffalo our O Line was full of turnstiles. You coached them up, full off-season and John Miller showed much improvement. I hope your replacement does as good a job. Good luck to you in the future Kromer brehh!
