Kelly the Dog Posted January 15, 2017 Posted January 15, 2017 How many times did the Bills win a game after trailing in the 4th quarter? Or even take the lead back? That's not up to the offense? Nice try. That's not what I was talking about. I specifically referred to you saying the Bills were 10th in scoring and that a third of the league were better than them.
vincec Posted January 15, 2017 Posted January 15, 2017 (edited) That's not what I was talking about. I specifically referred to you saying the Bills were 10th in scoring and that a third of the league were better than them. The discussion is whether or not the Bills were very good in offense. You are supporting the assertion that they were with your rankings. I'm telling you that those rankings are deceptive because they failed when they were needed most. The rankings are what they are. If you throw out week 17 or week 5 or whatever we can manipulate them if you like. But they still failed in the clutch. Every time. Edited January 15, 2017 by vincec
John from Riverside Posted January 15, 2017 Posted January 15, 2017 I know that discussing this with you is laughable futile, but why is no one addressing my point? The Bills did not win one game after trailing in the 4th quarter. Is that not a problem with the offense? Are you expecting a pick 6 or something to get the lead back? It's up to the offense and they failed. because your point is stupid.....simple as that

So you're saying that if Steve Carpenter makes a 45 yard field goal Tyrod is good, but if he's misses, Tyrod is bad. Got it.

Perhaps if our D dominant team (major resources going to that area AND the team with the most health this season) had held up THEIR end of the bargain at ANY given time this season......you would not be complaining about "clutch 4th quarter comebacks" To totally dismiss the fact that we were scoring points and the D was just giving them right back up basically KILLS your argement
vincec Posted January 15, 2017 Posted January 15, 2017 So you're saying that if Steve Carpenter makes a 45 yard field goal Tyrod is good, but if he's misses, Tyrod is bad. Got it. His name is Dan Carpenter. And why didn't the score in OT like Miami did? 0 for 8 on the season. Lots of excuses though, right?
John from Riverside Posted January 15, 2017 Posted January 15, 2017 His name is Dan Carpenter. And why didn't the score in OT like Miami did? 0 for 8 on the season. Lots of excuses though, right? Do you have blackouts when the D takes the field?

But carry on repeating the same non-sense, like you've never watched an NFL game in your life. Do you expect to never trail late in a game? This isn't high school. Do you have blackouts when the D takes the field? Address my point, if you can. If not, we are done with this because you are a broken record.

Carpenter missed one in OT. That's why we didn't win. The Dolphins kicked a FG after a 57 yard run, which I guess was Tyrod's fault, too.

As was pointed out in another thread.......Jay Cutler has like 30 gw 4th quarter drives and Aaron Rodgers only 10 in about a decade of being a starting QB. I don't think there is any question which QB is better. When last seen Tyrod took the Bills 90 yards for a go-ahead TD with just over a minute in regulation versus the Dolphins. Is it possible that Tyrod was getting better after basically playing almost the entire year with scrubs at WR due to injury? I think an objective person can see it that way.......Watkins and Woods finally back healthy together for the first time all season.....and the season ON THE LINE......... and Tyrod puts up a team record offensive performance.
John from Riverside Posted January 15, 2017 Posted January 15, 2017 And you are blind. Even simpler. Even if I were blind.....someone could provide me stats that we were 7th in scoring offense in brail and I could dispute your weak **** You are still not addressing my point. If not, we are done with this because you are a broken record. How many teams actually engineer 4th quarter comebacks when their D cannot get stops.......why dont you address that? And dont talk about broken records.....your **** is whack
vincec Posted January 15, 2017 Posted January 15, 2017 Even if I were blind.....someone could provide me stats that we were 7th in scoring offense in brail and I could dispute your weak **** Stats are for losers. Watch the games. One day you will learn something about winning (but not by watching the Bills probably). BTW- Miami, Green Bay and Atlanta all made the playoffs with a worse defense than Buffalo. Strange how that is possible.

The team is designed to win games a certain way.....this team is biult on the conception of a GOOD defense..... Dominant D Run the ball Dont turn the ball over The fact that they were 7th in scoring with Tyrod Taylor is actually a unforseen thing and WITHOUT it we are probably picking in the top 5 of the draft not at 10.....the DEFENSE that was supposed to be the staple of this team LET THEM DOWN...that is why REX GOT CANNED but go ahead...ignore the numbers and "watch the games" even though watching the games you can still see the points being scored and our D failing badly....game to game....EVERY game
3rdand12 Posted January 15, 2017 Posted January 15, 2017 because your point is stupid.....simple as that is that really needed ? I am not going to decide on Tyrod being a clutch player (passing). Looks like he is still learning to me. I bet he has the mentality for it though

John from Riverside Posted January 15, 2017 Posted January 15, 2017 but not needed. I know I said that

Championship !!
