I knew we didn't have a shot at McCoy. But hearing Musgrave signing on to be a QB coach without even interviewing anywhere else - wow.

It really is Denver and everywhere else when it comes to the available coaching gigs.

The hire makes plenty of good sense. He's a respected QB guru and they've got what - TS and PL. Also a solid succession planning/continuity play if MMc moves on/up and Musgrave does well. Not to mention Broncos are loaded on both sides of the ball.

I hope McDermott knows someone that can help evaluate and draft QB's. I thought we could get McCoy with Pegula bucks but now here we are.

Helps to have respected management.

More like it helps to have a place people have previously worked and want to live.

I believe Brad Childress or Matt Nagy end up landing the gig

:censored: the Broncos. They will still miss the playoffs next year

The opportunity with the Broncos could position him to make a jump to a HC post sooner than any open OC roles. Make Lynch/Sieman SB winning QB and sign your ticket. Broncos D doesn't put them far off.

Sure blame the city.

Elway wanted to fire McCoy the year that he took the Chargers job and it was reported that their relationship was strained at the end. McCoy and Musgrave worked together for one year in which McCoy was a first year QC assistant and Musgrave resigned as OC after 3 games.

Don't mention the fact that the Bills have no answers at QB and a completely muddied situation there. We have a rookie HC and a GM that most of the league still views as a joke.
