MAJBobby Posted January 12, 2017 Posted January 12, 2017 (edited) 8 year vet to backup or start if Goff isn't ready. Not crazy. It is if you are gonna pay him 20M a year like alot here say he is worth Skeptical on the report anyway that he will be an OC when he has a second interview for a HC job Also looking at McVays offense in Wash TT skill set doesnt fit it Edited January 12, 2017 by MAJBobby
GG Posted January 12, 2017 Posted January 12, 2017 8 year vet to backup or start if Goff isn't ready. Not crazy. Tyrod will be looking for starter QB money, which LA won't pay. If not, his best bet is to take another $10 million/yr deal in Buffalo
nucci Posted January 12, 2017 Posted January 12, 2017 8 year vet to backup or start if Goff isn't ready. Not crazy. They also have Keenum as their backup
FireChan Posted January 12, 2017 Posted January 12, 2017 Tyrod will be looking for starter QB money, which LA won't pay. If not, his best bet is to take another $10 million/yr deal in Buffalo Maybe they will. Make a splash FA signing?
PromoTheRobot Posted January 12, 2017 Posted January 12, 2017 (edited) If lynn goes I dont think TT comes back McDermott is not going to deliberately schitt the bed his first season by letting a capable starter walk. Edited January 12, 2017 by PromoTheRobot
dezertbill Posted January 12, 2017 Posted January 12, 2017 (edited) Who's their HC now? Also, isn't Lynn still under contract with the Bills? I haven't heard Lynn being let out of his contract. Considering the OC hadn't been named yet in Buffalo unless he's been let go unbeknownst to the public this is tampering. You need permission from another team to interview a player under contract unless it's for a HC position. Furthermore you can't take a HC from another team and name him your OC without permission. From team he's under contract with. Furthrrmore McVay has his offense he runs and ALynn has his. It doesn't make sense for McVay to hire another OC coach who is vying for a HC role based on the offense he runs Edited January 12, 2017 by dezertbill

We knew this once Sanjay was interviewing in Philly a few days ago before they even hired McDermott. Edited January 12, 2017 by YoloinOhio
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted January 12, 2017 Posted January 12, 2017 Again i am sure EVERY coach on the staff has been giving their permission tk seak other opportunities I agree. When I raised this this past week, people seemed to push back, saying "but he's under contract." Lynn was passed over here; they aren't going to force him to stay to coach under the new guy.

Only reason to be skeptical of this report is he is Interviewing for the HC job in SD with a 2nd interview scheduled Doubt he is thinking any OC position right now. But a Run 1st guy i guess i would want to go with Gurley after McCoy even if it is McVays offense Edited January 12, 2017 by MAJBobby
KD in CA Posted January 12, 2017 Posted January 12, 2017 Excellent news! I have Todd Gurley in my keeper league.
Kelly the Dog Posted January 12, 2017 Posted January 12, 2017 The original dude who tweeted that says that McVay "tabbed" Lynn to be the OC but it's not a done deal.
MAJBobby Posted January 12, 2017 Posted January 12, 2017 The original dude who tweeted that says that McVay "tabbed" Lynn to be the OC but it's not a done deal. Now that makes most sense guess they will be waiting to see if he lands a HC job. Two more left i guess
YoloinOhio Posted January 12, 2017 Author Posted January 12, 2017 Now that makes most sense guess they will be waiting to see if he lands a HC job. Two more left i guessi think the Chargers like him a lot but will ultimately hire Mike Smith Niners are waiting on mcdaniels My opinion
Bleeding Bills Blue Posted January 12, 2017 Posted January 12, 2017 good luck Lynn i will watch just to see what your Offense looks like Good luck - That offense needs a ton of work. Needs a #1 WR, a TE, a #2 back, and a ton of help on the o-line. I think McVay could be good for Goff though.
BillsFanForever19 Posted January 12, 2017 Posted January 12, 2017 (edited) Um..... no? This just now @RapSheet: #Chargers went into todays meeting with #Bills interim Anthony Lynn viewing him as their top target. Hes still with them... Edited January 12, 2017 by BillsFanForever19
xsoldier54 Posted January 12, 2017 Posted January 12, 2017 La La La La La- Canfooooora! LaConforta is too busy with his left wing political tweets to worry about his real job.
Marv's Neighbor Posted January 12, 2017 Posted January 12, 2017 Ralph is gone. RJ is gone too but he'd never come back for a DC job.
