NewEra Posted January 12, 2017 Posted January 12, 2017 Can we delete this thread? Or completely rename it? He has an interview. That's confirmed.
BillsFanForever19 Posted January 12, 2017 Posted January 12, 2017 As in " he won't be going to Buffalo . He has options" If Denver weren't interested, he'd be our OC - i'd bet. Here's hoping Musgrave blows them away and they pick him instead.
Jqueazy Posted January 12, 2017 Posted January 12, 2017 Mike McCoy is Broncos OC...Its in his Wikipedia page! Great..Who now?
Kelly the Dog Posted January 12, 2017 Posted January 12, 2017 Mike McCoy is Broncos OC...Its in his Wikipedia page! Great..Who now? Funny. Vance Joseph was just talking to reporters minutes ago and he didn't mention it.
nucci Posted January 12, 2017 Posted January 12, 2017 Mike McCoy is Broncos OC...Its in his Wikipedia page! Great..Who now? I saw it on the internet so it must be true
Kelly the Dog Posted January 12, 2017 Posted January 12, 2017 Ian Rapoport @RapSheet 6m6 minutes ago Ex-#Chargers coach Mike McCoy will meet with #Broncos coach Vance Joseph today about the OC position. They get 1st crack, may keep him there Hopefully we get second crack and Daddy Warbucks comes through. I'd prefer to keep Lynn if possible, but...
D. L. Hot-Flamethrower Posted January 12, 2017 Posted January 12, 2017 I saw it on the internet so it must be true There has to be a song in there somewhere.
26CornerBlitz Posted January 12, 2017 Posted January 12, 2017 @MikeKlis Broncos interviewing Mike McCoy here as I tweet, Bill Musgrave tomorrow morning for Offensive coordinator. #9sports
BillsFanForever19 Posted January 12, 2017 Posted January 12, 2017 Hopefully we get second crack and Daddy Warbucks comes through. I'd prefer to keep Lynn if possible, but... Haven't you heard? McCoy's going to choose Buffalo over Denver because we were better on offense last year in some statistics. Or so I was told on this board yesterday...
ndirish1978 Posted January 12, 2017 Posted January 12, 2017 How come we either haven't scheduled any interviews for coordinator positions or haven't announced the ones we have scheduled?
Kelly the Dog Posted January 12, 2017 Posted January 12, 2017 Haven't you heard? McCoy's going to choose Buffalo over Denver because we were better on offense last year in some statistics. Or so I was told on this board yesterday... There are all kinds of reasons that McCoy may or may not choose Buffalo over Denver.
MAJBobby Posted January 12, 2017 Posted January 12, 2017 (edited) Interesting that the Raiders dropped Musgrave so they could hold on to ex-Bills' QB coach Todd Downing. From my Raider friends he was directly responsible for the development of Carr And thought they would lose him so pulled a tampa move like thei did with their HC Edited January 12, 2017 by MAJBobby
Doc Posted January 12, 2017 Posted January 12, 2017 From my Raider friends he was directly responsible for the development of Carr And thought they would lose him so pulled a tampa move like thei did with their HC No he wasn't. They drafted Carr in 2014 and hee had an excellent rookie season, but Downing was with the Bills that year.
MAJBobby Posted January 12, 2017 Posted January 12, 2017 No he wasn't. They drafted Carr in 2014 and hee had an excellent rookie season, but Downing was with the Bills that year. He shown flashes. They said he really took off when Downing got with him. They didnt want to lose Musgrave however it was him or Downing in their mind. They would have rather lost Musgrave So i expect my friends to know their team better than I don

They didnt want to lose Musgrave however it was him or Downing in their mind. They would have rather lost Musgrave So i expect my friends to know their team better than I don Of course they're going to say that Downing developed him. You think they'd admit that Musgrave did, and he's now gone?
MAJBobby Posted January 12, 2017 Posted January 12, 2017 Of course they're going to say that Downing developed him. You think they'd admit that Musgrave did, and he's now gone? Lets see yeah big stretch i know that the QB coach helped Carr make the big leap from Rookie year to the top young QB. I know it sucks a former Bills QB coach did that i get it
BillsFanForever19 Posted January 12, 2017 Posted January 12, 2017 @AndrewSiciliano: Vance Joseph tells me @nflnetwork he hopes Mike McCoy doesn't leave the building. He'd like to see McCoy as the Broncos OC. I was watching. Worse than that, Joseph said "Mike wants to be here".
Doc Posted January 12, 2017 Posted January 12, 2017 Lets see yeah big stretch i know that the QB coach helped Carr make the big leap from Rookie year to the top young QB. I know it sucks a former Bills QB coach did that i get it Like I said, Carr had an excellent rookie season throwing to the likes of James Jones, Mychal Rivera, and Andre Holmes, and despite the lack of a running game. The additions of Michael Crabtree, Amari Cooper, and Latavius Murray after his rookie year helped tremendously. @AndrewSiciliano: Vance Joseph tells me @nflnetwork he hopes Mike McCoy doesn't leave the building. He'd like to see McCoy as the Broncos OC. I was watching. Worse than that, Joseph said "Mike wants to be here". I wonder how Bill Musgrave, who will be interviewing tomorrow, feels about those statements?
YoloinOhio Posted January 12, 2017 Posted January 12, 2017 Just saw this SIAP #dontlethimleavethebuilding! @andrewsiciliano Vance Joseph tells me @nflnetwork he hopes Mike McCoy doesn't leave the building. He'd like to see McCoy as the Broncos OC.
