BuffaloHokie13 Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 How risky would it be for the Bills to keep Tyrod and trade him? His deal is not bad for a starting QB. We'd be on the hook for the prorated bonus after the 4th day of the league year.
BigPappy Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 Kubiak is gone, so the impetus for having Tyrod may be as well. Who knows? With Elway being pretty high on TT, I'm not sure it will matter that Kubiak is gone. With that defense and those receivers, he would do good things there. The TT bashers would be eating crow for years Seriously? He can't hit an open reciever here. What would make anyone think he can do it in Denver? Kubiak and Elway are very close, Kubiak's opinion is still very relevant to Elway. I agree with this.
aristocrat Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 7-6 bro. He's .500 and getting worse every year. every year = slightly over 1 year lol. but i guess that fits your argument. if he gets worse next sure.
PromoTheRobot Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 We'd be on the hook for the prorated bonus after the 4th day of the league year. So how much is that. Is it worth the pick we'd get back for him?
BADOLBILZ Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 Hoping for this? No I'm hoping for Lynn and Tyrod on offense, or at least McCoy and Tyrod......I'd rather win but I have no say and it's entertainment so either way I will enjoy the ride. Hiring that old quitter Norv Turner would be a good way for McDermott to get paid for not coaching the Bills for the last 3-4 years of his contract. Personally........I can't believe a conservative defensive guy would not want to just continue with the top running offense so maybe McDermott can avoid a quick hook by keeping Tyrod and retaining Lynn as OC......or hiring McCoy and keeping Tyrod and keeping most of the elements of the existing offense in place.
aristocrat Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 So how much is that. Is it worth the pick we'd get back for him? 4 million i believe
PromoTheRobot Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 4 million i believe There's a bit poker playing here. You bet that you could get a high pick for Tyrod if you keep him. But you need multiple teams to show interest.
quinnearlysghost88 Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 He's gonna kill us like Scott Chandler did for the pats ! I can feel it. how about like hogan did for the pats.
zow2 Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 So if Elway wants Tyrod, and McCoy is being lured to Denver to be OC...that would lend to the theory that McCoy would be fine with Tyrod as well. So if McCoy stays linked with McDermott ...McCoy may be a Tyrod guy and wants to coach him.
dave mcbride Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 7-6 bro. He's .500 and getting worse every year. Promoting this lie in multiple threads now? Sheesh. Have some dignity.

FireChan Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 Promoting this lie in multiple threads now? Sheesh. Have some dignity. He was 7-6 as a starter in 2015. 7-8 in 2016. Adds up to 14-14 aka .500. What lie are you talking about?
26CornerBlitz Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 If I were Elway, I'd be aiming for a better option like Romo.
Kirby Jackson Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 He was 7-6 as a starter in 2015. 7-8 in 2016. Adds up to 14-14 aka .500. What lie are you talking about? You are using the trick play as the opener in 2015. I figured out the riddle!!! Technically, he did start that game (just not as QB).
K-Apps Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 (edited) Yea, I'm not big on gift-wrapping Tyrod to Denver, if Denver wants TT so bad, a trade can be worked out if the OC decides that Tyrod isn't the guy. Edited January 11, 2017 by K-Apps

COBillsBacker Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 Has it been confirmed anywhere that Elway likes Tyrod? TT has not come up out here. Romo definitely has been rumored, but for the most part it's Siemian and Paxton being talked about for the starting role.
bobobonators Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 This is true. The Dolphins made the playoffs only beating one winning team this year so theres that. FWIW I think we are a better team overall than the Dolphins, they just got hot at the right moment and believe in the coaching theyre getting. And the redskins made the playoffs without beating a single winning team last season. Other than the patriots, teams go .500 (at best) vs good opponents and beat up on bad opponents. Its what 99% of the nfl does.
BaaadThingsMan Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 Re your disclaimer: You think Vance Joseph might have a high opinion of TT right about now?? TT did aaight vs Joseph's D
