Read this article http://buffalonews.com/2017/01/09/buffalo-60s-bills-players-make-history-standing-racism/, where Nick Buoniconti argued against the white players walking out on the AFL All-Star in '65 when their black teammates were being discriminated against in New Orleans. Buoniconti reportedly said the walkout was a “raw deal” which “hurt the league a great deal.” Couple that with the champagne when the last undefeated team loses, and when he was the mouthpiece for US Tobacco (Tobacco does not cause cancer, he said in a famous 60 minutes intervew), and the only redeeming thing about this guy is the Miami Project for his son Mark who was paralyzed playing football.
