filthymcnasty08 Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 Watch, with a vanilla HC pick, they are going to sex it up with a QB acquisition - then draft the Clemson WR....and that will put people in seats 2017

Coach Tuesday Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 @nfldraftscout Firing a defensive-minded coach to hire a defensive-minded coach. Usually see that go the other way. I think the key distinction is the word "minded."
Reed83HOF Posted January 11, 2017 Author Posted January 11, 2017 Joe Buscaglia @JoeBuscaglia 40s40 seconds ago Reminder: the decision ultimately rests with the Terry/Kim Pegula. Everything I've heard was that McDermott impressed them quite a bit.
klos63 Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 I thought I heard Rivers was pretty stuck on not moving his family around or something. He didn't want to move to LA from San Diego, why would he even consider buffalo.
GoBills! Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 I thought I heard Rivers was pretty stuck on not moving his family around or something. Rivers is building a brand new home in Rancho Santa fe, He just tore down the old home and new one is going up.
K-Apps Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 Another uninspiring coaching hire it seems, I will give this a shot but I'm not seeing a guy who is gonna change the culture in Buffalo honestly.
YoloinOhio Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 @siriusXMNFL "If they get it done, I think its a home run for the @buffalobills " - Bill Polian on Sean McDermott as possible #BillsMafia next HC
What a Tuel Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 Rivers is building a brand new home in Rancho Santa fe, He just tore down the old home and new one is going up. Someone should tell him the news then.... Just kidding. I don't even think Rivers has been mentioned. Also was the 4 qbs were Romo, Cutler, Brees, and Cousins, mentioned by someone who broke some things like the Rex hire. Not sure exactly what he meant by that but perhaps he heard a list of QB's they think are simply obtainable.

klos63 Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 Another uninspiring coaching hire it seems, I will give this a shot but I'm not seeing a guy who is gonna change the culture in Buffalo honestly. Why do you think that?

MAJBobby Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 So is this a Whaley pick. Or the owners ignoring their GM again?
Alphadawg7 Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 Another uninspiring coaching hire it seems, I will give this a shot but I'm not seeing a guy who is gonna change the culture in Buffalo honestly. Please explain. Care to tell us who was more inspiring and why?

K-Apps Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 Why do you think that? For me, I don't see a dynamic presence that will change the atmosphere and culture in the organization or a guy will tremendous football acumen. Those are the traits to me make a potential great HC especially for a franchise that hasn't made the playoffs since 1999. From the outside looking in, this feels like Dick Jauron 3.0, hopefully I'm dead wrong on that, but that's my opinion.
Reed83HOF Posted January 11, 2017 Author Posted January 11, 2017 Michael Silver @MikeSilver 2m2 minutes ago I am told the Bills have not yet made a final decision on their head coaching hire
JohnC Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 He didn't want to move to LA from San Diego, why would he even consider buffalo. More invigorating weather!
